The Angel

You’re a Celestial Being, not explicitly Christian, even if the flavor might betray this
statement. Feel free to discuss this with the group, what aspects do you wanna lean into, or
away from. Whatever the case, you serve a higher purpose, you guide those who need to be
guided, and protect those who need protection.

Your Backstory
Someone has seen your True Self, give them a string on you.

You hear the troubles of those around you, choose someone you think needs your help and
gain a string on them.

Darkest Self
You are meant to protect people, you have to protect them. You will destroy those who do
evil, and guide those who are lost, you activate your True Self, taking the harm, and you
cannot leave your darkest self until you smite evil, or harm someone innocent.

Sex Move
When you have sex with someone, you show them your True Self. They choose a Condition,
Afraid, or Enamoured. If they choose Afraid, they gain a string on you, if they choose
Enamoured, gain a string on them.

Angel Moves
You get Holy Mantle, and True Self:

- Holy Mantle
Your presence is protection itself, the first time someone other than you would take harm in a
scene, reduce it to 0, which manifests however you’d like it to. But usually involves pushing
them out of the way, or preventing the attack in the first place. As a Part of your Holy Mantle,
you have a weapon you carry around most of the time.

- True Self
You have a True Self, when you reveal this to others outside of your Sex Move, you take 1
harm which cannot be reduced in any way. Your Hot becomes 3 until you revert back to your
normal form.

- Angelic Touch
When you’re in the presence of someone mending their wounds, including yourself, heal an
additional 1 Harm, up to a max of 3.
- Place of Worship
You have a secret and private place where you go to when you have to think and be alone,
you gain +1 to Gaze into the Abyss tolls in this place. When you bring another person into
this place, you gain a string on one another.

- Smite the Wicked


You deal an additional 1 harm when Lashing Out in defense of others.

- Arch Angel’s Protection


Any harm you take is reduced by 1. If you Lash Out Physically for any reasons at all, you
lose this benefit until the next scene.
