Recommendations
Prepared by:

Class Representative, Section E
1. Introduction
As the Class Representative of Section E, I would like to present this report to address certain
ongoing concerns at the Gurugram campus, particularly around discipline issues within the
class and complaints raised against me. Additionally, I propose actionable suggestions to
enhance the student experience and foster a positive learning environment.
2. Class Discipline Issues
2.1 Faculty Complaints
There has been a noticeable increase in complaints from faculty regarding instances of
indiscipline in our class. To address this, Me and Khushi initiated discussions with the class,
emphasizing the importance of maintaining decorum. I am pleased to share that these efforts
have significantly reduced such incidents.
2.2 Non-Adherence to Formal Dress Code
A persistent issue has been the lack of adherence to the formal dress code on Wednesdays.
Despite maintaining a defaulters’ list, students often disregard the rule, knowing that no action
has been enforced thus far. Some students even respond indifferently when warned, stating,
"Defaulters list mai hi name daalega na toh daalde." I am working consistently to ensure
compliance with this policy.
2.3 Formation of Groups
In the past two weeks, concerns were raised about the formation of groups among the two
class. To address this, we organized a meeting in the seminar hall, encouraging unity and
collaboration among all students and I am pleased to share that these efforts have eliminated
such happenings .
3. Response to Complaints Against Me
3.1 Allegations of Bias
I am aware of complaints alleging that I have shown favoritism by not including friends’ names
in the defaulters’ list and providing proxy attendance. I strongly deny these allegations and
present the following evidence to clarify my stance:
● Defaulters’ List: My friends have been a consistent part of the defaulters list. For eg
Soumya and Vedant, have been added to the defaulters’ list on multiple occasions. I
have attached an Excel sheet as evidence.
● Disciplinary Actions: On 24th September, when my friends were found playing FIFA
on the smart board, I convened a class meeting and issued a final warning. Since then,
there have been no similar incidents and no one from the class has broken such rule
again. Relevant photos are also attached.
● Attendance Practices: Proxy attendance is strictly prohibited in our class and is
enforced equally for everyone, including my friends. Verification of this can be done by
speaking to the entire class.
3.2 Source of Complaints
I believe these complaints stem from a small group of students who are either displeased with
being included in the defaulters’ list or unhappy about being reminded to maintain discipline due
to their repeated disruptive behavior.
3.3 Request for Resolution
To address these allegations transparently, I request the Student Council to visit our campus
and hold an open discussion with the entire class. For objectivity, I propose that this discussion
be conducted in my absence. I am confident that the majority of students will confirm the
fairness and transparency with which I have handled my responsibilities.
4. Recommendations
To address the ongoing challenges and enhance the student experience, I propose the following
recommendations:
4.1 Regular Visits by the Student Council
I recommend that the Student Council make regular visits to the Gurugram campus. This would:
● Provide students with guidance and support.
● Address disciplinary issues more effectively.
● Reassure students that their concerns are being heard and acted upon.
4.2 Visits to the Delhi Campus
Organizing regular visits to the Delhi campus for students would:
● Offer a refreshing change of environment.
● Expose students to a different cultural setting.
● Motivate students by showcasing the vibrant activities held there.
4.3 Inter-Campus Participation in Events and Seminars
Facilitating student participation in events and seminars at the Delhi campus, with proper
transportation arrangements, will:
● Enhance learning opportunities.
● Foster collaboration and Expose students to a different cultural setting
Additionally, inviting Delhi campus students to attend events at Gurugram will further
strengthen inter-campus connections and encourage knowledge sharing.
4.4 Exclusive Events for the Gurugram Campus
To provide students with a sense of freshness and exposure, I recommend hosting exclusive
events for the Gurugram campus. Introducing events similar to The Preamble would:
● Bring excitement and enthusiasm to the students.
● Foster a sense of belonging and encourage active participation.
5. Conclusion
This report outlines the efforts made to address disciplinary issues, clarify concerns raised
against me, and present actionable recommendations to enhance the overall student
experience. I believe implementing these steps will create a more positive and cohesive
environment for all.
