PRACTICAL subject for LLB and BALLB, EVEN SEMESTER 2021-22
ARBITRATION, CONCILIATION AND ALTERNATE DISPUTE RESOLUTION (Practical Training)
(Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996)
This subject is taught partly through Class Room Lectures including SIMULATING EXERCISES and partly
through extension programmes like Lok Adalat.
The internship of one month in LLB or BALLB relating to the subject practical training has to be taken
under a senior Advocate ( whose enrolment/practice as Advocate in Court of Law is of more than 10
years).
Practical File has to prepared by students strictly as per syllabus, available on the web site of the CCS
University. The file will be in two parts- one Sessional Diary on Field Work – having record of the written
exercises assigned by college AND their observations about LOK ADALAT WORKING.
Minimum 02 field work assignments exercises are required to had by each student during the Semester.
SECOND PART of the file has to have full details of the subject—Legal Field Work assigned to each
student :

The index has been facilitated for students enabling them to prepare their practical file on all issues
raised in syllabus.
Any laxity in preparing file will be at the cost and risk of defaulter student.
The file can be well prepared with help of teacher in college and by reading the Act in full.
The field work will be assigned in group and all students to attend to the field work as given in Syllabus .
Any laxity in field work will be at the risk of students.
College and teachers can teach, help and support students but the work has to be done by students
themselves that too when they study well and attend to classes/fieldwork.
