The concert report details Ms. D Hui's experience at the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra's performance of Turangalîla-Symphonie on February 11, 2023. The concert featured Wagner's Prelude and Liebestod and Messiaen's Turangalîla-Symphonie, with Hui expressing mixed feelings about the emotional delivery of the former and a lack of understanding of the latter. Despite the impressive performance, Hui does not plan to attend another concert featuring Messiaen's work, preferring other offerings from the orchestra.
