Subject: Science Grade: VII

Instructions for Students:

● Complete the following tasks during the winter break.


● Present your work neatly and creatively, using diagrams, tables, and explanations
where needed.
● Compile all your work in a folder or notebook for submission.

Part 1: The Human Respiratory System

Task 1: Research and Explain

1. Research Questions:
o What are the main organs of the respiratory system?
o How does oxygen enter the bloodstream?
o What is the role of alveoli in the respiratory system?
2. Presentation:
o Draw and label a diagram of the human respiratory system, including:
Nose, Trachea, Bronchi, Lungs, Alveoli, Diaphragm.
o Write a paragraph explaining how air travels through the system during
inhalation and exhalation.

● Breathe into a cold mirror or glass and observe the fogging effect.
● Answer:
