ART CLUB

Part 2: Tell me a painting or a photo that you like

The picture I like most is a photo I took with my family when I graduated
(in=>FROM) university. In the photo, we are standing together, celebrating my
(achivement=>ACHIEVEMENT). I felt proud and grateful. It always reminds me of
my efforts.
Part 3:
A. I kept a painting for a long time. Tell me a thing that you have had for a
long time.
To be honest, I have kept a handwritten letter from my best friend for many years. It is
filled with kind words and wonderful memories that make me happy. Every time I
read it, I feel grateful and remember our friendship, even though we now live far
apart.

B. I would like to learn painting, but I have not still found the effective way.
Should I take a course at my local college? Please, give me some advice.
From my perspective, there are many ways to learn painting. For example, you can
learn through YouTube or follow the learning methods of experienced artists in art
communities and practice (with:BỎ) step-by-step. These methods (helps=>HELP) you
save money. However, if you still struggle to find an effective way, I think enrolling
(+IN) an art course would be a good option.

C. Street art – where people paint on the building – are becoming popular.
However, some people criticize that it is bad. What is your opinion?
I totally agree that painting on buildings can make the city look worse because it can
create a (messy=>MESS), especially when people paint on important buildings. As a
result, instead of making the city more beautiful, it reduces urban aesthetics. In my
opinion, the government should organize street art festivals where artists can paint in
allowed places.
Part 4:
“Dear all members,
The Art Club is organizing a talk to the public to attract more attention. We are going
to invite an artist to give a talk to the members. As a member of our club, could you
give us an artist to join our talk and what topic should they share to gain more
attention? Especially, we would like to have more both young and elderly members.”
1. Write an email to your friend

Hi Jane,

How are you these days? (I hope you’re doing well). I received an email from the manager of
the club (about=>THAT) we will invite an artist to talk to the public. Honestly, I was on
cloud nine when I heard this news, as I had been waiting for it for a long time. I think I will
send an email to the manager with some ideas. Can you give me some advice?

Best regards,

2. Write an email to the organizer of plan.

Dear Sir,

My name is Nguyen Minh Hanh and I have been a member of the art club for 2 years. I am
writing this email to express my feelings and suggestions about the notice that I have
received from our club recently.

According to the news, the club will invite an artist to speak. To be honest, I was on top of
the world when I heard this news since this plan is the best thing since sliced bread. I believe
this is a fantastic idea that will bring great value to our members.

In my opinion, it would be preferable if the club could post details regarding this notice on
the club’s forum so that people can offer suggestions for this event. Moreover, I propose
inviting an (art stresst=>ARTIST)because street art is becoming increasingly popular, and I
think many people would love to learn about it. In additions, to encourage more participation,
I suggest organizing the event on a weekend when most people are free from school and
work. I would also recommend inviting The Wall Street Art, a group that regularly organizes
art exhibitions and paints large walls in the city.

I hope the club management will consider these suggestions to maintain accessibility for
everyone. I look forward to your response.

Best regards,

Nguyen Minh Hanh.
