-Expository texts are an informative that explains something to
the reader.
-They give facts and information about a specific topic.

Examples of Expository text can be found in:


 Description-Describes a topic by giving examples, features,
and characteristics.

Ex: Caterpillars have soft bodies.


Other Ex: A butterfly is a colorful insect with patterned wings.
It drinks flower nectar and helps pollinate plants.

Activity 1. Direction:

1. The rainforest is full of tall trees, colorful birds, and unique


animals, creating a lively and connected ecosystem.
2. Gather ingredients, preheat the oven to 350°F, mix dry and wet
ingredients, then bake for 30 minutes.
3. Combine flour, sugar, butter, and eggs, mix until smooth, and
bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
4. The Eiffel Tower is a tall, iron structure located in Paris,
France.

Direction: Pair up with a classmate, choose a place you both know,
