FOOTPATH - DAY

A guy is walking on a footpath, as he’s walking further, water pours

from a pipe overhead. He finds a plant kept aside and places it
exactly where the water is pouring.

CUT TO

EXT. FOOTPATH - DAY

A woman is struggling to carry her food trolly and the guy gets to
her as soon as possible and helps her out in moving it.

CUT TO

EXT. RESTAURANT - DAY

A dog approaches the guy with whiny eyes in order to get some food
and the guy offers him a piece of chicken leg from his own food.
The cook who is meanwhile cooking looks at the guy and nods at him
in disagreement.

CUT TO

EXT. FOOTPATH - DAY

The guy finds a mother and her daughter sitting alongside the
footpath with their hands folded denoting that they are pleading for
money. A cardboard piece in front of them which says for education.
When he looks at the cardboard piece he gives them all the money that
he has in his wallet. Meanwhile the owner of a spectacle shop notices
this and nods in disagreement.

CUT TO

INT. BUILDING - DAY

The guy attaches a dozen of bananas on a door knob of an apartment.

An old lady opens the door and she finds the bananas and no sign of
who dropped it.

NARRATOR

What does he get in return for doing this everyday?

 CUT TO

EXT. FOOTPATH - THE NEXT DAY

He crosses the same route he followed the previous day and observes
that the water is still pouring in the plant and he nods at the sight
of this.

CUT TO

EXT. FOOTPATH - SAME DAY

The lady who was struggling the previous day to move her food trolly
is looking around hoping to find some help until she finds the same
guy who helped her out and looks at him with an annoyed look.

THE FOOD TROLLY LADY

There you are!

CUT TO

EXT. RESTAURANT - SAME DAY

The same dog approaches the guy again hoping he’ll get food again.
This time the guy pulls out two chicken leg pieces with an amusing
look on his face.

CUT TO

EXT. FOOTPATH - SAME DAY

The same duo of mother and daughter are sitting at the same spot. He
pulls out his leftover money again from his wallet . The spectacle
shop owner again nods with disagreement. The guy is handing over the
money with a smile on his face, this time the girl is just looking at
him. The guy nods and hands over the money to her.

CUT TO

INT. BUS - EVENING

The guy is sitting on the seat and notices the only girl standing in
the aisle and offers her his seat

INT. BUILDING - EVENING

The old lady gets out her apartment and finds the bananas attached to
the door knob and looks around to find who kept them.

CUT TO

INT. DINNER TABLE - NIGHT

He’s eating food alone.

Narrator

He gets nothing.

CUT TO

EXT. HOUSE - NIGHT

He’s feeding the chickens.

CUT TO

INT. HOUSE - NIGHT

He’s sitting shirtless with his hands folded as if he’s praying. He

scratches his back while doing this.

NARRATOR

He wont be richer.

CUT TO

EXT. HOUSE - NEXT MORNING

A wide shot of the veranda where chickens are sitting ideally.

CUT TO

INT. HOUSE - SAME MORNING

He’s watering his plants

 NARRATOR

Won’t appear on TV.

CUT TO

EXT. FOOTPATH - SAME DAY

He’s crossing the same route like he does everyday and observes the
water still pouring in the plant that he kept there.

NARRATOR

Still anonymous.

CUT TO

EXT. FOOTPATH SIDE - SAME DAY

He’s helping out the same food cart lady that he does every day
meanwhile both of them are arguing with the rushing traffic. The food
cart lady puts her cap on his head. They are struggling the move the
trolley but they end up doing it anyway with bright smiles on their
faces.

NARRATOR

And not a bit more famous.

CUT TO

EXT. RESTAURANT - SAME DAY

The dog is eating the guy’s entire meal while the he’s caressing him
and he walks away while the dog is looking at him walk away.

CUT TO
 EXT. ROAD - SAME DAY

While he’s crossing the road on the zebra crossing he notices that
the dog is following him.

CUT TO

EXT. FOOTPATH - SAME DAY

He willingly goes to the mother and daughter duo with a smile on and
he notices that the daughter is not there.

DAUGHTER

Mom!

The mother and the guy look towards the direction from where the
voice came from and then the guy notices the girl in a school
uniform. The two of them have a long eye contact and he cant help but
control his emotions and smiles with a gist of happy tears.

NARRATOR

What he does receive are emotions.

The spectacle shop owner cant help but notice and removes his own
spectacles in an awe. He is stunned with what he just saw.

CUT TO

EXT. FOOTPATH - SAME DAY

The guy is helping the food trolly lady and both of them are laughing
extravagantly.

CUT TO

EXT. RESTAURANT - SAME DAY

The guy is feeding the same dog that he fees everyday with a smile on
his face.

NARRATOR

He witnesses happiness.
 CUT TO

EXT. BUILDING - SAME DAY

Wide shot from a height.

CUT TO

EXT. ROAD - SAME DAY

People and cars are stuck due to traffic jam.

NARRATOR

Reaches a deeper understanding.

INT. HOUSE - EVENING

He’s eating a banana on his dining table.

He’s following his praying ritual and bows down to complete it.

INT. BUILDING - EVENING

The old lady finally finds out who was keeping bananas on her door
knob every day. She gives him a grand hug and denotes her love
through this.

NARRATOR

Feels the love.

INT. BUS - EVENING

The girl who he offers his seat to is smiling at him.

NARRATOR

Receives what money cant buy.

EXT. FOOTPATH - THE NEXT DAY

The mother looks up to him with joy.

CUT TO

INT. HOUSE - SAME DAY

The dog that he used to pet gets him the watering can.

CUT TO

EXT. FOOTPATH - SAME DAY

Focus on the plant (zooming in shot) placed by him getting the water
it requires.

NARRATOR

A world made more beautiful.

The daughter is teaching her mother how to count

The guy is accompanying the food trolley lady who’s selling her food.
THE FOOD TROLLEY LADY

The guy looks at her with a smile on his face after she makes this
gesture to the lady buying her food.
