Doctrinal Statements

God

God the Father is the Supreme Being in whom we believe, whom we worship, and to whom we pray. He
is the ultimate Creator, Ruler, and Preserver of all things. He is perfect, has all power, and knows all
things. He has a "body of flesh and bones as tangible as man's” (Doctrine and Covenants 130:22).

Jesus Christ, The Son

I believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His
vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the
right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

Holy Spirit

I believe Scripture when it speaks repeatedly of the Holy Spirit, known as the Spirit of God and the Spirit
of Jesus Christ. Scripture, which my Ultimate never failing source that clears all my doubt tells us that
the Holy Spirit is of the same essence as the Father and the Son. The Holy Spirit is ascribed with the
attributes of God, is equated with God and does work that only God does. I believe Holiness is the basic
characteristic of the Spirit. I believe the Holy Spirit gives us wisdom to desire for the things of God and
direct our whole life and all our actions to His honor and glory, and understanding which enables us to
know more clearly the mysteries of faith. Counsel warns us of the deceits of the devil, and of the
dangers to salvation, fortitude strengthens us to do the will of God in all things.

Man (natural)

I believe that man was created in the image of God for fellowship with God and His very pleasure; and a
sudden destruction came by man's choice to disobey God, man marred that image, alienated him from
God, left him dead in sin, and under God’s wrath.

Salvation

I believe that Jesus Christ is the only plan for God’s salvation of humanity (John 3:16-17; 14:6; Acts
4:12); that while we were still enemies of God, Jesus died and was raised for our justification to appease
the wrath of God (Rom. 5:10; 1 Thess. 5:9;); we believe we are saved by believing faith—confessing with
our mouths and believing in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead (Rom. 10:9-10; Eph. 1:13).

Satan

We believe Satan exists as a fallen angel, the archenemy of God and man, described by Jesus as the
prince of the world. Satan along with the other fallen angels will be active in this world until their final
judgement at the Great White Throne.
Scriptures

We believe that the Bible is the complete Word of God, composed of 66 books with the Old and New
Testaments which were inspired by the Holy Spirit, and is entirely free from error. The Bible is the final
and only authority in all matters of Christian faith and Christian life. (II Timothy 3:16, 17)-

The Church

The church is the new covenant community of the Spirit for which all who are united to the risen and
ascended Christ, who is the Head of the Body, are members of the invisible church which is the body and
bride of Christ, the fullness of Him who fills all in all (Rom 12:5; 1 Cor 12:12-27; Eph 1:20; 4:3-10).

Last things/ Things to come

We believe that when a person dies, the physical body returns to dust while the soul, which is immortal,
continues in a conscious state.

We believe that the souls of those who die as believers will abide with the Lord until He returns for His
church, at which time the glorified bodies of the dead in Christ will be resurrected and, together with
the believers who are alive, will meet the Lord in the air. Later, Christ will return to earth with His Saints,
and establish His Kingdom of righteousness and peace.

We believe the souls of those who die as non-believers will abide in a conscious state in Sheol (the place
of the dead apart from the presence of Christ) until the last day when they will be resurrected to be
judged and cast into the lake of fire. (Luke 16:19, John 14, 1 Thess. 4, Rev. 20)

Angelology- We believe that angels are created personal beings (Col. 1:15-17; Jn. 1:3) who worship God
(Heb. 1:6; Rev. 5:8-13), serve God (Ps. 103:20; Rev. 22:9), whose express purpose other than
worshipping God is to serve the purposes of God by serving humanity in redeeming God’s world
(Hebrews 1:14; Acts 8:26; 10:3; Luke 16:22). Angels have a will (James 2:19; 1 Peter 1:12) and can either
choose to serve God or the devil (James 2:19; Jude 6). -
