modern and largest grass root refinery with a processing capacity of 650 KBPSD. Besides crude
distillation unit the company is equipped with further processing units like Hydrotreaters, Fluid

Role & Responsibility:

 Preparation of pre-commissioning and commissioning checklists, flushing plan, procedures.

 Managed the commissioning activities for refinery systems, including process units, utilities, and
equipment, ensuring all systems were tested and operated according to design specifications.
 Collaborated with engineering, operations, and construction teams to review design documents,
specifications, and drawings, identifying potential issues before commissioning activities began.
 Conducted pre-commissioning checks, including mechanical integrity tests, electrical checks,

 Identified, troubleshot, and resolved operational issues during commissioning, providing

 Executive Engineer - DCS in Sulphur Recovery Unit Sept-2022 To Nov-2023
Indobaijin Chemicals (P) Ltd. Dahej, Gujarat.
Indobaijin Chemicals Company is the manufacturing of “CS2 (Carbon Di-Sulfide)” from the Natural
gas and liquid sulphur with capacity of 200 TPD in continuous plant. Besides CS2 Distillation from
Reaction Refining Unit with Pressure Swing Absorption (PSA) then further processing unit like
Sulphur Recovery Unit (SRU) and Tail Gas Treating Unit (TGTU).

Role & Responsibility:

 Operated and monitored the control panel to oversee the performance of the Sulfur Recovery
Unit, ensuring proper functioning of equipment such as Claus reactors, amine contactors, and
sulfur condensers.
 Continuously tracked key process parameters (pressure, temperature, flow, H₂S levels) from the
control room, making adjustments to ensure optimal sulfur recovery and minimize emissions.
 Responded to alarms and abnormal process conditions by initiating corrective actions, including
adjusting flow rates, pressures, and temperatures to maintain process stability.
 Managed start-up, shutdown, and emergency shutdown sequences of the SRU equipment,
ensuring that all processes were safely executed according to established procedures.
 Monitored sulfur recovery efficiency and ensured compliance with environmental regulations,
including sulfur dioxide (SO₂) emission limits and overall sulfur recovery rates.
 Adjust process parameters based on lab results, check material balance and Generate report.
 Logged operational data and detailed reports on equipment performance, troubleshooting
actions, and incident resolution for future reference and audit purposes.
 Review day to day process parameters to spot and correct potential problems or deviations from
operating plans, Ensure operations within SOC and IOW limits.
