UNICEF has been active in Vietnam since 1975 and its programmes aim
to promote the respect for, protect and fulfil the rights of all children, with
fairness at its core, UNICEF promotes the inclusion of the most vulnerable
children, including those from ethnic minorities. Its current Country Programme
of Cooperation contributes to Vietnam’s Socio-economic Development strategy
(2021-2030) and the National Action Plan for Children 2021- 2030, which
