II Rationale

Environmental responsibility is a crucial aspect of education and community involvement.

As stewards of the environment, it is essential for students to engage in activities that promote
cleanliness, sustainability, and social responsibility.

The Department of Education (DepEd) recognizes the importance of environmental

awareness in shaping responsible citizens. Initiatives such as the Clean-Up Drive encourage
students to actively participate in keeping their surroundings clean while fostering a sense of
environmental stewardship.

However, many students lack awareness of the impact of pollution and waste
mismanagement on their community. Without proper education and participation in initiatives like
this, environmental issues will continue to escalate. Therefore, this Clean-Up Drive aims to instill
discipline, responsibility, and awareness among students regarding the importance of maintaining
a clean and healthy environment.

In line with this, Tumog National Agricultural and Trade High School will conduct a Clean-
Up Drive in the school and surrounding areas with the theme “A Cleaner Environment, A Better
Future”. The activity will equip students with essential values of teamwork, discipline, and social
responsibility, ensuring they become active contributors to their community’s well-being

III Objectives:
By the end of the activity, participants are expected to:
