Good morning, everyone! Today, we gather to celebrate International Women’s Day, a day
dedicated to honouring the achievements of women.

Compere 2: Madhav
Before we begin, let’s take you around the nation and world to see what's in the news this
week.

(Aryan and Atharv will enter together)

Compere 1: Rukaiya
Now let's invite Veer for a thought for the day

(Veer will enter)

Compere 2: Well that’s a wonderful thought to begin our day with, I heard Riana and Kridey
were having a conversation.. Let's hear them

(Riana and Kridey step on the stage and begin their dialogue.)

2. Indira Gandhi Skit

(The skit on Indira Gandhi’s life begins, performed by Kaisha as Indira Gandhi, Zohan Babbar
as Jawaharlal Nehru, Samraj as Feroze Gandhi, Atharv as the Political Opponent, and Aryan
as the Citizen.)

Poem

Compere 1:
Indira Gandhi’s life teaches us that no stereotype is too big to break. Let’s now listen to a
Hindi poem that celebrates her spirit and the strength of all women.

(Ayaan and Navya enter)

Wow! I feel like I have goose bumps

Compere 2:
At our school, we believe in breaking stereotypes too. For this, I would like to invite Suveer,
Ayaan and Ansh to share the initiative that we as a class have taken.

(Suveer, Ayaan, and Ansh share the initiatives, such as creating posters)

6. Dances
Compere 1:
Thats right we are not just celebrating it today, we actually lived it!
Compere 2:
Now, let’s celebrate the strength and beauty of women through dance.

(Dance performances )

7. Call for Action


Compere 1:
Breaking stereotypes starts with each one of us. I invite shaurya to take it forward.

(Shaurya enters)

Compere 2:
As a symbol of breaking free from stereotypes, let’s release these balloons into the sky,
carrying our hopes for a more equal world.

(Students release balloons while the audience cheers.)

Compere 1:
Let’s pledge to challenge stereotypes, support each other, and create a world where
everyone is free to shine.

Compere 2:
Remember, as the great Serena Williams once said, “Every woman’s success should be an
inspiration to another. We’re strongest when we cheer each other on.”
Compere 1:
International women’s day on March 8th is celebrated to share and evoke this very spirit. As
we conclude today’s assembly, let’s remember that every small step we take to challenge
stereotypes can lead to big changes.

Compere 2:
Let’s make this world a better place—for women, for everyone.

Compere 1:
