Removal
1. Drive the vehicle on the lift.
2. Disconnect the battery.

08.20.001-BATTERY-Removal and refitting
3. Remove front underbody guard.
09.14.001-FRONT UNDERBODY GUARD-Removal/refitting or replacement
4. Drain the A.C. system.
08.40.000-AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM-System Emptying - Filling
5. Remove the complete airbox.
01.41.003-COMPLETE FILTER HOUSING-Removal/refitting or replacement
6. Remove the complete LH airbox.
01.41.004-COMPLETE LH. AIR FILTER BOX-Removal/refitting or replacement
7. Remove LH sleeve between turbine and intercooler.
01.32.017-LH SLEEVE BETWEEN TURBOCHARGER AND INTERCOOLER-
Removal/refitting or replacement
8. Remove LH airbox duct.
01.41.036-LH FILTER HOUSING DUCT-Removal/refitting or replacement
9. Insert a reduction inside the special slit on belt tensioner.

10. Using a wrench, turn automatic belt tensioner clockwise to slacken
compressor drive belt and separate it from A.C. compressor pulley, setting
it so as not to hinder the following operations.
11. Undo the indicated screw and disconnect delivery and return pipes
to/from A.C. compressor.
12. Disconnect the 2 compressor connectors and release wiring from
retaining clip

13. Loosen the indicated screw and disconnect oil level sensor connector
(1).
14. Undo A.C. compressor rear fastening screw.

15. Undo lower fastening screw.
16. Undo upper fastening screw and remove A.C. compressor.

Refitting
17. Refit all the parts you have removed following the removal procedure
in reverse order.
18. Tighten A.C. compressor fastening screws to a torque of 20 Nm .
Renew seal on A.C. compressor delivery and return hoses.
19. Recharge the A.C. system.

20. Carry out a functional test.
