Before we proceed to our topic, let us have an
activity. This activity is called “NUMBER
SUBSTITUTION CIPHER.” I will group you into four
and I will give all of you a cipher key.
Each letter of the alphabet is replaced by a
corresponding number, for example A=1, B=2, C=3
and so on. Every group will race against each other
to decode the words using the number substitution
cipher. The first group to correctly decipher the
word come in front and write it on the board.
This is the sample cipher key.

housekeeping maintenance for establishments
like hotels, resorts, apartments etc. It covers the
guest rooms, halls and corridors, offices,

Students will be grouped again into two groups for another
activity. This activity is called “Pictionary”. One member
from each group is going to come in front and draw the
tool that I give to them. You will let your groupmates
identify what you are drawing by writing their answer on
the board. You only have 45 seconds to draw and the first
group to correctly guess the word wins. Every correct
answer is 10 points.
