Text: A market day.
Today is Thursday and it is market day at Guéné. People come to buy and sell
goods. Traders sell their goods in shops or stalls. They sell tomatoes, yams,
manioc, maize, onions, clothes and shoes. People bargain to know the price and
they use money to buy goods.
Adiza is a trader who sells fish in the Guéné market. Her stall is next to the car
station and opposite the restaurant. She always goes to the market in the
morning and is finished at 9 o’clock P.M
