Maths Concepts Counting and sequences:

● Odd and even numbers


● Counting in various intervals
● Grouping/regrouping: decomposing of 3-
digit numbers for example: 234= 200 + 30
+ 4 or 248 = 2 hundreds, 4 tens and 8
ones
● Reading and writing number names and
symbols
English Reading Continue reading readers at home along with a
fun book of child’s choice and reading level.

Concept Understanding of nouns, pronouns, adjectives,


verbs.

Please practise weekly spelling words daily:


1. ate 2. blade
3. game 4. made
5. hate 6. mane
7. hope 8. woke
9. note 10. poke
11. globe 12. slime
13. bedtime 13. flute
14. tube 15. cute
16. eve 17. grape
18. theme 20. muse
Spelling test on Friday about these words,
including 2 dictation sentences. Remind students
of starting a sentence with a capital letter and
ending with a full stop.

Reminders P.E clothes can be worn on:


3A: Mondays, 3B: Tuesdays (please pack water bottle in)
Library books must be brought to school every day as class teachers
are also listening to how students are reading.
School clubs and extracurricular activities will begin from today 27th
January 2025.

Please return all exercise books after the weekend (covered in


plastic)
