energy that i want for this whole event, kaya ba? of course kaya!
Now that we’re all centered and ready to go, let me welcome each and every one of you to this
exciting seminar, "values Build-Up: Seminar on the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People!
Before anything, btw I am kuya marc, your host for today. I’m sure you’ve all been eagerly
waiting for today’s event—and trust me, it’s going to be worth it. We’re not just talking about
balancing your books today; we’re here to balance your life OF COURSE NAMAN with the right
habits in life! Syempre as accountancy students, hahayaan ba nating hindi balance life natin,
magpapalamang ba tayo?
It’s great to see so many future accounting wizards here, and trust me, today is going to be one
of those days where you’ll learn habits that’ll not only make you highly effective in your studies
and work but also as future leaders in the accounting world. So, with that, I want to officially
welcome you to this seminar. Get ready to take notes, reflect, and of course, have some fun
along the way. Let’s make this a day to remember!
INTRODUCTION OF SPEAKER
Now, no seminar is complete without a stellar speaker to guide us through these life-changing
habits. Today, we are beyond lucky to have someone who is not only an expert in the
professional field but also someone who knows the importance of building a solid foundation for
success.
Our speaker is a bachelor’s and master’s degree holder in economics and a doctorate degree in
organizational studies with a Dean’s Citation Award. He is currently the Vice President for
External Relations and International Affairs of the University of Mindanao (UM).
He’s responsible in promoting and expanding linkages and networking of UM which include the
Asian International Mobility of Students (AIMS), the Asian University Presidents’ Forum (AUPF),
and the Association of Universities in Asia and the Pacific (AUAP).
He handled various international projects with the Philippine-Australia Human Resource
Organization and Development Facility, and the ERASMUS Mobility plus.
He is an accreditor of the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on
Accreditation or PACUCOA and an assessor of the Institutional Sustainability Assessment (ISA)
of CHED and of the Philippine Quality Award of the DTI.
He is University of Mindanao’s lead champion on its submission to the Times Higher Education
Impact Ranking and the institution’s application to the Philippine Quality Award where it received
the Level IV award, the only education institution to ever receive such an award.
