Driver Leave— Definition
● Absent Days: Days when a driver did not take any swap and the battery was also not submitted at
DSK
● Leave Days: Days when the driver submitted the battery at DSK.
● Swap: Swap is defined as the transaction done by the driver for taking a battery swap at a partner
station.
● Penalty: Penalty is the amount paid by the drivers if they are absent or on leave (except 4
penalty-free leaves in a month )
● Waiver: The organization is waiving off the amount that has been applied as a penalty or adding
some amount to the driver’s account as a token or providing benefit of doubt to the driver.
Driver Leave— Leave Policy
● Drivers are eligible for 4 days of leave (penalty free, without battery submission at DSK) in a month where
the active days (swap days + absent days) should be 22+ days (30 days)/23+ days.
● Drivers are eligible for 4 days of leave in a month, but it depends on their active days.
Driver Leave— Absent Penalties
● Drivers are charged with a penalty of Rs. 120 per day if they keep batteries for more than 4 days
without a swap in a month (as per the above leave policy table). Leave Communication To Driver
● There are multiple ways through which drivers receive communication regarding leaves (number of
days and leave penalty amount), which are mentioned below:
● Drivers can visit the nearest Driver Seva Kendra (DSK) and get the details of their leaves and penalties.
● On the 1st of every month, drivers receive an automated message in the inbox regarding leaves and
penalties for the last month on their registered mobile number. If the driver has any dispute regarding
the leaves, the same can be cross-checked with the system, and leaves can be removed till the 4th of
the month.
Driver Leave— Absent Penalties
● Every 5th of the month, the leaves get freezed and cannot be removed for the last month.
● Drivers can check the leaves in the driver’s application.
● Drivers can call us at 8055-300-400 and we will inform them about the same.
Driver Leave— Leave Removal Scenario
Generally, drivers used to connect with DSC for the request of leave removal.
Below are the scenarios where we can remove the leaves:
● Battery Submitted but not informed Battery smart
● Driver Informed but OSC missed status change
● Impound/missing batteries recovered but driver status not updated
● Driver incident reported but driver status not updated
● Requested Battery Pick up, but pick up was not done
● The station did not have charged batteries
● Nearby stations Seized or Closed

Following steps to be followed :
1. Click on the absent day for the month you want to remove the leave.
2. After clicking on the particular absent day, the below reference image pops up
will be visible in the screen; here the reasons for removing the leave will be available.

3. After removing the leave, the penalty for the particular absent day will be removed, and it will be reflecting as
green with the leave removed tag. Reference image attached below:

Issues Category: Information :- Whenever a driver asks for information about swaps, swap count, pricing, number of leaves, penalty
or any other query that can be resolved simply by sharing information or guiding them, it should be addressed promptly.
Action Taken : Assign to Self. >> Provide necessary information. >> Mark as completed. >> Remarks: SAR (Same As resolution)

Issue Category: Swap History
Sub Issues Category: Dispute: Whenever a driver raises any issues related to swap history, such as leave removals, leave penalties, or
any discrepancies between our records and this experience.
Action Taken :
Step 1: The agent needs to check the previous tickets first. If a ticket has already been created, then the agent needs to cross check the
details for the same.
Step 2: After cross checking the details, after that we can remove the leaves.
Step 3: If the ticket is not created, then the agent needs to check the details related to the concern of the driver, and after getting
confirmation from the supervisor, the agent can remove the leave.
Step 4: Mark as Completed Assign to Self >> Provide necessary information. >> Mark As Completed >> Remarks: SAR (Same As
resolution)
