hannah (host): Hello world!

atalya (host): and hello Madridians!
hannah (host): It’s a new day and new topics to be discussed! Im Hannah
Tolentino
atalya (host): And im Atalya Ibay
hannah/atalya: Your host for talk N talk!
atalya: We’re going to talk about class management and conductive class
how about you Hannah what do you feel about this type of topics
hannah: I think it’s good! And important for every classroom, it should be
discussed in every classroom to maintain discipline and rules! How about
you?
atalya: For my opinion, class management is essential for creating an
effective learning environment for each student in the classroom. And with a
conductive classroom that encourages social interactions, which involves a
supportive peers.
Hannah: Wonderful answer now Let’s welcome our guest for today! Grade 8
students! May you please introduce yourself! What’s your name and age?
*introduce name age and fav hobbies*
atalya: Okay, so how are y’all doing?
lahat: Were fine as always!
hannah: How’s your high school life here in Escuela La Madrid

Aj: My high school life here in La Madrid has been great so far, because I've
been here since nursery, I had no problem adjusting to the high school
division of Escuela La Madrid

atalya: How about you June?

june: Our life in La Madrid is full of memorable experiences and happiness

but at the same time it was sad seeing our other friends or classmates
transferring to other schools.
celine: For me, my experience here has been good. I have met a lot of people
and made new friends and having the best memories such as our field trip
and prom night and many more and I hope to make more memories this
school year.

queen: My high school life here in ELMC was fun and I’ve learned a lot.

marcus: Its good but sometimes my experience suck because it’s always
either good or bad. But you know we should normalize it and keep it for high
school memories.
Still my whole experience in La madrid is awesome because I met the
teachers that I had before pandemic years and the teachers became my
second guardian.
and some of my teachers are like my parents and my experience and great
because I’ve studied in ELMC for 8yrs and I had so many friends.

Hannah: Okay that’s good it seems like you guys had lot of fun experiences
in our school.

*tawa lahat*

Hannah: So I’m going to ask you guys about class management and how to
make the classroom conductive

Atalya: Most of us here are part of the class officers am I right?

queen: Yes, yes I’m the secretary and AJ is the auditor

Hannah: That’s great to hear! I have some classroom policies here that I will
tell y’all and I want to hear your opinions about it whether you agree or
disagree.
Now, what are your opinions about “No eating and drinking in class”. Who
will go first?

Marcus: I can go first, I agree to no eating in class because we’re not the one
who’s going to clean the classrooms, and for the janitor it’s kind of hassle to
pick up the trash and throw it even though the trash was from the students.
It should be the student’s responsibility to pick it up and throw it to the
proper trash bin. We should respect the janitor because they do the largest
amount of work in school.

Aj: For me, I agree to eating and drinking while in class, I'm not saying that
we should just eat in class like it's our break time, I'm saying that we eat
while still listening to our teachers, because some students doesn't have
enough time to eat because of the 15 minutes time limit of break times,
some teachers also said that eating and drinking are allowed while the class
is ongoing, but we have to be attentive so that eating and drinking does not
become a distraction to the whole class.

celine: I also don’t agree because I think students should eat in class, the
reason is maybe some students are still hungry and because of this policy
they can’t eat, and they cannot focus in class and also we can use the extra
time to do work in recess or lunch.

june: I don’t agree with this policy, why? Because in my opinion, students
should eat even in class as long as they eat quietly so that they won’t disturb
other students that is listening to the teacher in front.

queen: I also agree with no eating and drinking in class because it causes
disturbance with other students and therefore students can also focus in
studying.

atalya: Okay we’ve heard about your wonderful opinions! But how about you
Hannah. What’s your opinion in eating while class hours?

Hannah: Hmm for me I disagree, I love eating! And I feel like I can focus
more while eating!

*tawa again all*

atalya: Okay, let’s move on to question number 2 Which would you pick? A
noisy classroom or a quiet classroom? What’s your opinion on keeping the
room quiet every time? Who will go first?

queen: I’ll go first! I agree in keeping the room quiet for students so that our
minds can focus and concentrate on the lesson.

Marcus: though I don’t agree that the room should be quiet because the
more noise it has, the more fun to learn. But we should respect the teachers
that is in front because they are working hard to teach us.

aj: I also disagree about keeping the room quiet, let’s say it’s the last subject
of the day and the students are tired, it might cause the students to become
sleepy while waiting for the teacher to arrive. because the student will
struggle to listen to the lesson while trying to stay awake.

celine: Same for me, I don’t like keeping the room quiet. Based on my
experience I always doze off when the room is quiet, probably most of us
have done this already. So back to my opinion, I don’t agree with keeping
the room quiet.

Hannah: Okay both sides have very good reasons! But I think I’ll side with
Queen! I also think that not everybody can concentrate when the room is
noisy. To the point that you can’t even hear what the teacher is saying but
how about you Atalya what’s your opinion on this rule?

atalya: I agree with y’all but the noise should be kept in a minimum level as
a respect for the other students that’s concentrating to the teacher.

Hannah: Okay for the last question! What do you feel with everyone in grade
8 being friends like what do you prefer should grade 8 just be a 1 whole
circle of friends or should we have the right to pick our own friends but that
doesn’t mean we should fight with our own classmates we can all be in good
terms while having our own circles or friends of our choice but for you what
do you guys feel about this rule?

aj: For me, students should have the right to choose the people they want to
be friends with, like someone who has the same things in common with
them. But they should also be open to having other friends in the future, like
of some new student transferred to La Madrid and they get along with each
other. That way they can build a circle of friends that get along with each
other, but still being in good terms with the other students of Caritativo.

Hannah: What an amazing answer from AJ let’s give him a round of

applause! *clap kayo* Okay who has other opinions?

Marcus: it should depend on the attitude of the circles, like if we have a diff
circle its fine we can be friends w/ others but circle is only for best friend that
you are comfortable with
celine: I also think that we should make or decide who we want to be friends
with even if it’s not in the same grade because it’s our decision and our
choice. And this helps us make new friends and communicate with other
people not only in our grade but lower or higher grade

queen: I most prefer that we should have the right to have friends with
others not only 1 circle because while growing up it is more fun to have
friends with a lot of people

atalya: I’m very glad to know your answers! We should follow what our heart
desires. I’m also glad to know that y’all already have a circle that you can
keep up with.

Hannah: I’m so touched with your answers! Well, that’s all for our Talk N Talk
show! I would like to thank our guest for sharing their answers for todays
talkshow.

Atalya: Thank you guys!

(alis na mga guest)

Advice: You guys should always stick to your own decision, on whether you
agree to something or you disagree to it. Like the answers that our guest
said, some of them agree, while some of them don’t. Its up to you to choose.
Remember always take your time when making decisions

Hosts: That is all for today everyone, Thank you for listening to our talkshow,
Talk N talk. We hope you like it!
