Shoe size 27: 35 g


Shoe size 36: 60 g
Shoe size 38: 70 g
Shoe size 41: 80 g

Gauge

Stocking stitch: 31 st and 45 rows = 10 cm


Pattern, slightly stretched: 26 st and 45 rows = 10 cm

Needles

2-2.5 mm dpns

Size

Shoe size 27 - 36 - 38 - 41

Pattern

Cast on 46 - 54 - 64 - 72 sts and work k1, p1 ribbing for 12 rows.

Divide the stitches on the needles as follows:

* size 27: 10 - 16 - 9 - 11
* size 36: 9 - 16 - 11 - 18
* size 38: 17 - 18 - 11 - 18
* size 41: 16 - 18 - 18 - 20

Start pattern. Decrease 1 - 0 - 1 - 0 stitch on the first needle.

Pattern (see also chart)

* 1. row: knit all stitches


* 2. row: k3, k2tog, yo, k2 , p2
* 3. row: knit all stitches
* 4. row: k2, yo, ssk, k3, p2

Work in pattern until sock measures 10 - 13 - 15 - 17 cm, ending with pattern row 2 or 4.

Heel

Work heel flap over 25 - 25 - 34 - 34 stitches (needles 1 and 2). Work stitches on needles 1 and 2 onto one needle.

1. Row 1 (RS): slip 1 knitwise, k to end


2. Row 2 (WS): slip 1 purlwise , p6, *k2, p7*, repeat *-* 1 - 1 - 2 - 2 more times.

Repeat the two heel rows 10 - 12 - 14 - 16 times (20 - 24 - 26 - 32 rows). Work french heel as follows (pattern from Ulla
02/06):

* Slip 1 st, knit 13 - 13 - 17 - 17.


* K2tog tbl, k1. Turn.
* Slip 1, p 4 - 4 - 5 -5, p2tog, p1. Turn.
* Slip 1, k to 1 st before gap. K2tog tbl, k1. Turn.
* Slip 1, p to 1 st before gap. P2tog, p1.

Work decreases until 15 - 15 - 20 - 20 heel stitches remain, ending with a wrong side row.

Gusset

Slip 1, knit 14 - 14 - 19 - 19 and pick up 11 - 13 - 15 - 17 sts along side of heel flap. Work pattern on needles 3 and 4
(row 1 or 3, ie. knit all stitches).

Pick up 11 - 13 - 15 - 17 sts along side of heel flap on needle 1 and work 7 - 7 - 11 - 11 sts from needle 2 onto needle
1. Needle 2: Knit until 3 sts remain, k2tog tbl, k1.

Work needles 3 and 4 in pattern. Needle 1: k1, k2tog, knit to end. Work gusset decreases on needles 2 and 1 until 40 -
53 - 61 - 70 sts remain.

Note! Work one more decrease on needle 2 than on needle 1 for sizes 27 and 36.

Foot

Work st st on needles 1 and 2, and work needles 3 and 4 in pattern. Start toe when sock measures 14 - 18 - 17.5 - 20
cm, ending with pattern row 1 or 3.

Toe

Toe decreases are worked so that there is a 2 st garter st band running along the edge. The decreases are at the
beginning of the needle every other needle, and at the end of the needle every other needle.

Size 27:
*Needle 1: ssk, knit to end. Needle 2: knit to the last 2 sts, k2tog. Work needles 3 and 4 in pattern. Knit all stitches on
next round.*
Repeat *-* one more time. Needle 1: ssk, knit to end. Needle 2: knit to the last 2 sts, k2tog. Work needles 3 and 4 in
pattern (row 2 or 4), skipping the yos. Knit all stitches on next round.

Size 36:
Needle 1: ssk, knit to end. Needle 2: knit to the last 2 sts, k2tog. Work needles 3 and 4 in pattern. Knit all stitches on
next round. Needle 1: ssk, knit to end. Needle 2: knit to the last 2 sts, k2tog. Work needles 3 and 4 in pattern (row 2 or
4), skipping the yos. Knit all stitches on next round.

Size 38:
*Needle 1: ssk, knit to end. Needle 2: knit to the last 2 sts, k2tog. Work needles 3 and 4 in pattern. Knit all stitches on

K stitches on needles 1 and 2. Work needles 3 and 4 in pattern (row 2 or 4), skipping the yos. Knit all stitches on next
round.

All sizes
Decrease on every needle every other row as follows: Needle 1: SSK, knit to end. Needle 2: knit to the last 2 sts,
k2tog. Needle 3: p2, ssk, k to end. Needle 4: knit to the last 4 sts, k2tog, p2.

End decreases when sock measures 17 - 22 - 23 - 25 cm, ending with a knit row.

Close the toe by knitting the two garter stitch stitches from one edge towards the other edge.

Place last stitch of needle 2 and first three stitches of needle 3 on a separate needle.

Needle 1: ssk, turn. *Slip 1 purlwise, k2, p2tog, turn. Slip 1 knitwise, k2, ssk, turn.*

Work *-* until there are 4 stitches left plus the 4 stitches on the separate needle (8 stitches in all). Graft these 4+4
stitches (or something like that).
