CONTROLS

RIDER BASICS
You may think you are perfectly happy with the way your bike
is adjusted. But that doesn’t mean that it is correctly set up for
you. We get used to our bikes — our muscles become trained
and we end up accommodating the bike. It is far better to take
the time to make the bike accommodate you. If you are satisfi
ed with your handlebar’s width and wrist position, but wish it
was just a little higher, lower or closer to you, your dealer can
recommend a set of handlebar risers that move the bar into
your comfort zone.

STOCK HANDLEBAR
Just about every model of Harley-Davidson® motorcycle
comes with a different stock handlebar. Selected to comple-
ment the style of the bike, the handlebar may be the ideal
shape for many riders, but of course, not everyone has the
same physical characteristics.

STOCK HANDLEBAR WITH RISERS

STOCK HANDLEBAR STOCK HANDLEBAR WITH RISERS If the stock handlebar has the correct width and hand position
for you, but seems just a little too far away, we offer riser kits
that bring the controls within reach. Straight and curved risers
are available for many model and handlebar combinations.
