Scale Score

Your percentile rank in school and your country/region.
The percentile rank shows your standing relative to the other students who took the test. For example, a percentile
rank of 65.3 means this score is equal to or better than 65.3% of students who took the test.
Described Achievement Scale
Your scale score is shown on the IBT Described Achievement Scale.
The Described Achievement Scale describes increasing levels of skills and understanding demonstrated in the
tests for this subject. These descriptions are divided into different sections called bands. The chart shows which
band your scale score falls within so that you can see the level you are working at. You will have mastered some
of the skills described at your band level and most of the skills described in the bands. Students normally move
up the band levels as they move through their years at school.
