CAT/MODEL EXAMINATIONS
INSTRUCTIONS TO INVIGILATORS

1. The invigilators are requested


a To obtain the signature of the students present in the examination hall in the attendance
sheet provided.
b. Tofllthe attendance sheet where the absentees should be marked "AB".
c. To count the main answer scripts and return the same at the end of the examination.
d. To not use cell phones or any other electronic gadgets in the examination halls.
e. To verify the Register Number and answer booklet number before signing the answer
booklet of the individual students.

f. Not to leave the examination hall during the examination hours.


g. Not to allow the students to enter the examination hall after 30 minutes from the
commencement of the examinations.
2. They shall instruct the students
a. To write their Register Number in the space provided in the question paper.
b. To not to have in possession any printed or written material with them and also not to
write anything on the question paper. The students need to hand over their belongings
not required for the examination.
c. To not to have mobile phones inside the examination halls. If found, the
students will
be booked under malpractice.
3. The students need to occupy the seats in the
examination hall as per the seating plan given to the
invigilators. The invigilators shall ensure that the seating plan is adhered to and the
students are
seated accordingly.
4. The invigilators shall issue the question
papers on time. They are required to be vigilant during
examination.
5. They are advised to maintain silence in the examination hall, so as to provide a conducive
environment for the smooth conduct of examination.
6. They are required to handover the
answer scripts after the completion of the examination
