Some people think the money spent in developing the technology for space exploration is not justified.
There are more beneficial ways to spend this money.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
People have different views about whether the budget invested in progressing the technology for space
exploration is not worth the effort and expectations. While I agree that there are social problems and
fields that deserve this enormous amount of money, I would argue that this investment is necessary for
the future of the human race and therefore is understandable.
To begin with, history studies have proven that the Earth has been through some major extreme
conditions eras and our planet has still been surviving, thus, we are in no hurry to find alternate planets
with nothing to ensure they are suitable for humankind and other Earth species. Instead, an investment
in studying effective methods of renovating the Earth is more rational in the contemporary scenery. For
instance, studying to design a truly reasonable-priced machine that can convert factories and vehicles
exposed gases into reusable energy has the potential to become both profit-making and public support
projection.
However, developing advanced technology for space exploration is still making it valuable for the human
race. Space explorations bring us chances to approach undiscovered materials that do not exist in Earth
but in outer space which may have the potential to become our main source of energy or constructing
material that can solve the problem of resources on Earth. Moreover, studying outer space may give the
answers to some unexplained phenomena on Earth and help us to predict the upcoming events that
may happen to our planet.
In short, while it is true that space expansion may result in some demerits, the benefits it would bring to
us are becoming more vital than ever.
