PROGRAM FLOW

DAY 0

Orientation Program Flow: Introduction to Effective Teaching (with Prayer and Meal)

I. Pre-Orientation (Preparation)

1. Define Objectives: (as previously discussed)

2. Identify Target Audience: (as previously discussed)

3. Content Development: (as previously discussed)

4. Logistics:

o Prepare the physical space (room setup, AV equipment, refreshments).

o Include a prayer space, if appropriate: If providing a dedicated prayer area, ensure it's
private, comfortable, and accessible. Consider providing mats, cushions, or other
necessary items.

o Plan for meal time accommodations: Determine the meal service style (e.g., catered,
potluck, individuals bringing their own food). Consider dietary restrictions and
preferences, and clearly communicate this in advance.

o Send out invitations/reminders with necessary information (agenda, directions, pre-


reading materials, information on meal and prayer accommodations).

o Prepare an "icebreaker" activity.

II. Orientation Session Flow

A. Welcome and Introduction (5-15 minutes)

o Communicate expectations for participant engagement, participation, and respect.

o Statement about respecting individual beliefs: "We respect the diversity of beliefs and
practices within our community. We will provide dedicated times and spaces for prayer
and meal breaks, while ensuring the program remains inclusive for everyone."
