Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage the administrative activities within the office of the Executive Authority; Liaise with internal and
external role players with regard to matters relating to the portfolio of the Executive Authority; Render a
Cabinet/Executive council support services to the Executive Authority; Manage the resources of the Sub-
directorate.
Qualifications and Experience:
National Diploma in Public Administration/ Public Management; Valid Driver's license; 3 years junior
management experience.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Competencies Required:
Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, Public Service Act, Public Service Regulations, Labour Relations
Act, Treasury Regulations, Basic Conditions of Employment Act; Public Finance Management Act; Performance
Management and Development System; Collective Agreements; Service Delivery Frameworks; Ministry
Operations; Broad knowledge and understanding of the functional areas covered by the executive portfolio;
Working knowledge of the political and parliamentary processes in South Africa. Skills: - Interpersonal

selection committee to assess the quality of the candidate based on the information provided in the form. It is

Due to excessive budget cuts and the nature of the position, the Department is not in a position to meet any travel
