WHAT IS GENDER

EQUALITY
- Gender equality is defined as
a situation in which gender does
not afect access to rights
opportunities.
- Gender equality does not
imply that women and men will
have or require the same
resources, but rather that the
rights, responsibities, and
opprtunities of women, men,
transgender individuals, and
gender-diverse persons will not
be determined by their given
gender at birth.
