Position Overview:

We are looking for an intern to join our team as a Unity Developer. This role is ideal for someone
with an interest in geometry, mathematics, computer vision, and solar design. As a Unity
Developer Intern, you will support the development of tools for solar design workflows,
incorporating 3D modeling, rendering, and computer vision to contribute to our software
solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the development and optimization of algorithms for 3D modeling and rendering
within Unity.
2. Help implement features that simulate and visualize solar layouts with precision.
3. Support the application of mathematical concepts like geometry, linear algebra, and
trigonometry to solve spatial problems and optimize solar design calculations.
4. Help integrate computer vision algorithms for analyzing aerial imagery and identifying
rooftops for solar panel placement.
5. Support the optimization of real-time image recognition and analysis within Unity.
6. Assist in building intuitive design features for solar panel placement, shading
calculations, and energy output visualization.
7. Contribute to developing simulation tools for solar exposure analysis and system
optimization.
8. Help enhance 3D and computer vision applications for better performance and efficiency.
9. Work closely with other developers, designers, and solar engineers to ensure seamless
integration of features.
10. Participate in discussions to align technical solutions with user needs and industry
standards.
11. Support testing and debugging processes to ensure reliable and accurate solar design
features.

13. Assist in maintaining detailed documentation for algorithms, tools, and workflows.

Qualifications:
Core:

1. Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.


2. Some experience or strong interest in Unity development, 3D modeling, and interactive
features.
3. Foundation in geometry, linear algebra, and calculus.
4. Proficiency in C# and interest in shader programming.
5. Basic knowledge or eagerness to learn about computer vision algorithms (object
detection, image segmentation).

Preferred:

1. Interest or familiarity with solar design principles, shading analysis, and energy yield
calculations.
