VOLUNTEERING AS A WANT NOT BECAUSE IT'S REQUIRED
Volunteering for a nursing student like me has a huge impact and has been an invaluable experience
that's not only deepened my understanding about healthcare but also help me to enhance my
communication skills and the ability to face my fears and any challenges. It's also a great opportunity for
us as we can gain Practical Experience which we can apply our basic knowledge like taking vital signs,
assisting some patients into the real word. As we engage ourselves into this activities, it is also helping
us to develop our skills and we can gain a better understanding about our choosen career. Volunteering
allows us to connect with experienced nurses, healthcare professionals that help us expand our
knowledge and also exposes us into real-life situation that make us realized and open our eyes that
there is so much in need of a healthcare, as we engage ourselves to a variety of patients with different
backgrounds and health need through volunteering can deepen our understanding the patient
experience, leading to a good and improved patient care.
Volunteering has a big impact to my future career, it serve as my practice as i am studying to be in a
medical field it is one of the reason that convinced me even more to push myself to do better so that I
can be a good nurse in the future. Seeing those people and patient whose in need made me think that
there is so many people that needed our care and also we're doing this because this is what we really
want not just because they needed us, I wanted to contribute in improving the overall health of our
community. It can be deeply rewarding, the fulfillment that we can feel hearing those "thank you's" that
came from patients family can be the best feeling, those smiles and genuine happiness in their eyes as
they said those words left me on thinking that i should make this possible to happen in the future, as we
volunteer we can make a purpose here, as we make a positive impact on the live of others. There is so
many benefits in volunteering just like developing our skills as we allow to practice and refine over our
clinical skills which we can use in the future, It can also help my self confidence so in order for me to
have this I need to used to volunteering to any organization for me to build a valuable connections and
potentially open doors for any opportunities to expose myself on any different challenges and
perspective, that can help me.There so many things that volunteering can impact my future career, the
experience that i gain in various field can be beneficial when I apply for jobs. Working in a hospital

professionals and building rapport with patient and staff.
It can provide Advancement for me, meeting professionals and individuals in the field can open doors
to opportunities, also builds empathy and cultural competence, making me more well-rounded in the
future. This also can head to personal growth and deeper understanding of social issues, fully aware so
that you can think on improving this. Volunteering involves facing unexpected challenges, which help
our critical thinking and adaptability. Volunteering is a powerful tool for personal growth it can provide
leadership experience which is highly valued by employer these connections can offer door to job
opportunities and provide valuabe references. As a progress through my nursing program. I wil continue
to actively seek volunteer opportunities to further refine my skills and contribute positively to the health
