Impacting young people to serve Christ.

To be a voice for the voiceless ....


As I was getting Aidan ready for school one morning, I wondered why there were holes in his brand new shirt. Irritated and perplexed I asked him how this happened. I used scissors. But, I stated with exasperation, why? His reply cut to my heart, Mommy, I wanted to look like the kids in Mozambique. Every mom wants their child to be full of compassion for others. I know that Aidans life has been shaped by living and serving in Mozambique. This is the same impact that has been made on our interns. We have always encouraged our interns to not settle for the quintessential American dream My irritation was like a balloon that because God's plan for them is so ... had lost all its air. Oh Lord, forgive much bigger than that! And that because Gods me for being so trivial. I is my prayer for my children as plan is so much explained to him, with tears in well, to be a voice for the bigger than my eyes, that I was so proud of voiceless. I pray that Aidan never that! him for thinking of his friends in becomes indignant or Mozambique. He was excited to hear desensitized to children in shirts that as he grows bigger and does not need with holes. That the image of starving his shirts any longer we will give them to children, both physically and spiritually those who will treat them as new. He will gnaw at his heart so that he may slay thought this was a good idea. That night as the giants of injustice and poverty. we prayed, he asked God to give his Mozambican friends new shirts, food, a Todd and I have just Ginished recruiting warm and dry place to sleep, and that they interns for this summer. We will now would know the love of Jesus. start the process of equipping them to serve in three projects in India and two projects in Mozambique in 2012. We trust that their lives will never be the same as they embrace their responsibility to the poor. We need your monthly Ginancial support to recruit, equip, and mobilize interns. 9 interns from 6 Universities 8 States Represented 4 Time Zones 7 Girls 2 Guys 3 to serve in India 6 to serve in Mozambique Their Majors: Biology, Psychology, Health Promotions, Nutritional Sciences, History, Sports Management, Political Communications. Goal: To take Christ to the poor through service, love, compassion and example.
