Hat

With K hook, make a magic circle, ch 1

Round 1: 10 hdc in magic loop. (10) sts. Sl st into rst st, ch 1.

round 2: 2 hdc in every st. (20) sts. Sl st into rst st, ch 1.

Round 3: *2 hdc in st, 1 hdc in next st* repeat around. (30) sts. Sl st into rst st, ch 1.

round 4: *2 hdc in st, 1 hdc in next 2 sts* repeat around. (40) sts. Sl st into rst st, ch 1.

Round 5: *2 hdc in st, 1 hdc in next 3 sts* repeat around. (50) sts. Sl st into rst st, ch 1.

Round 6: *2 hdc in st, 1 hdc in next 4 sts* repeat around. (60) sts. Sl st into rst st, ch 1.

Round 7: *2 hdc in st, 1 hdc in next 5 sts* repeat around. (70) sts. Sl st into rst st, ch 1.

Round 8: In the back loop only *2 hdc in st, 1 hdc in next 6 sts* repeat around. (80) sts. Sl st into

Round 9: *1 hdc dec, 1 hdc in next 6 sts* repeat around. (70) sts. Sl st into rst st, ch 1.

Brim

With J crochet hook, ch 1

Row 1: 1 hdc in the front loop only of 22 sts. (22) sts. Ch 1, turn.

Row 2: 1 sc in every st. (22) sts. Ch 1, turn.

Row 3: 1 sc tog, 1 sc in next 18 sts, 1 sc tog in last 2 sts. (20) sts. Ch 1, turn.

Row 4: 1 sc in every st. (20) sts. Ch 1, turn.


Row 5: 1 sc tog, 1 sc in next 16 sts, 1 sc tog in last 2 sts. (18) sts. Ch 1, turn.

Row 6: 1 sc tog, 1 sc in next 12 sts, 1 sc tog in last 2 sts. (16) sts. Ch 1, turn.

Row 7: Evenly sc around the entire hat

Fasten o and weave in loose ends.
