 18-year-old freshman goes to a frat party and is killed

o First act is her perspective with whole family at the cabin in the woods
 Going from older brother’s funeral, hint at drug overdose

o Second act is single dad dealing with grief
 Kidnapping and brining to cabin
o Third act is dad torturing kid
 Twist: Kid gets loose and finds newspaper of other victims that have been
killed in this cabin by the dad
o Kids mom was also captured and killed by dad (use flashbacks to
introduce her)
Lost Innocence

 A gloomy day at a cemetery, a 40-year-old man named Logan dressed in a
suit and tie with black sunglasses is standing at a funeral. The camera pans
over from the casket getting lowered to the man. The camera sits there for
10 seconds as a tear drops down his face. You can hear slight “Dad, Dad,
Dad”

Cuts to a sunny day at a lake house with Logan’s youngest daughter, aged
12 named Jess, yelling dad to try to get his attention. Cuts to the same close
up of Logan and he snaps back into reality and Jess gets Logan’s attention.
Jess goes and jumps into the lake. Logan sitting with same sunglasses on at
the lake with his brother-in-law James and his wife Lea, watching their kids.

Lucas
I’m glad we could get them away from everything. They need a fresh of
breath air.

James
We need a breath of fresh air.

Lucas smiles and continues under his breath

The kids start climbing on Lucas playing around

The screen cuts to black and the title screen goes on “Lost Innocence”
Logan is cooking breakfast in the kitchen as Jess is eating breakfast at the
table.

Logan
Kelly! We have to leave in 5 minutes let’s go!

Jess
Do I have to go?

Logan
Of course you do.

Kelly walks downstairs in her cap and gown.

Logan
Wow. You look just like your mother.

Kelly hugs Logan

Logan
I love you. I am so proud of you.

Kelly
I love you too, Dad

Jess gets into the middle of their hug.

Logan and Kelly start to laugh.

Logan in the driver seat, Kelly in the passenger seat, Jess in the backseat.

Logan
Are you nervous

Kelly
No, I am ready to get the hell out of this place.

Jess
Watch the language!

Logan smiles

Logan
Good girl

Pans out of the car as happy music plays. Car starts to pull in to high school
parking spot.

Logan
Ready?
 Kelly nods

The 3 get out of the car and Kelly hugs Logan. Logan kisses her forehead.

Jess
