Job description: QHSE engineer

Outsmart headquarters is based in Arnhem The Netherlands. What are we looking for? We are looking for an pro-active QHSE engineer with ambition, is eager to learn, able to set its own course, great communication skills and work independently. By preference you have 10 years working experience in a similar role in the offshore industry. You are flexible, proactive and know how to bring structure. You are fluent in Dutch, English and by preference German. Job Objective: Performance of QA/QC and HSE activities in support of the company objectives for Client's, in Projects and for QA/QC & HSE Policies. Tasks and Responsibilities: Identify HSEQ & RC improvement area s and to initiate, recommend and provide solutions. Perform internal and external QA/QC & HSE audits. Contribute to a co-operative working environment within the department. Fulfill project QA/QC & HSE requirements by use of applicable QA/QC & HSE procedures, tools and methods. (Safety case regime, risk assessment, HSE plans, QA/QC plans and systems, QA/QC audits, investigations, reporting) Perform Incident investigations when required. Assist the onshore emergency organization as required. Report to the assigned QA/QC & HSE manager. Pro-active scan changes in the market and actively approach new leads. Report to the Project Manager during participation in a project team. Set up QA/QC and HSE standards for wind energy. Create plannings, costs calculations, project documents and all other required tasks to contribute to successful projects. Pro actively use and improve the ERP system Axxerion and/or others.
