Materials Abbreviations
Crochet Hook ch - chain
Medium Worsted Yarn st - stitch

Beagle Head
HEAD
Use White yarn.
R1: With White, sc 6 in magic ring (6)
R2: inc in each st around (12)
R3: (sc 1, inc) six times (18)
R4: (sc 2, inc) six times (24)
R5: (sc 3, inc) six times (30)
R6-10: sc in each st around (30)
R11: sc 9, (sc 1, inc) six times, sc 9 (36)
R12: sc 9, (sc 2, inc) six times, sc 9 (42)
R13-17: sc in each st around (42)
R18: (sc 5, dec) six times (36)
R19: sc in each st around (36)
R20: (sc 4, dec) six times (30)

Cut two strands (10 cm) of black yarn and embroider eyes behind R11.
Cut one strand (15 cm) of black yarn and embroider a mouth behind R12, starting three stitches
below the bottom of the eyes.
R22: (sc 2, dec) six times (18)
R23: (sc 1, dec) six times (12)
R24: dec six times (6)
Finish with a sl st into the next stitch. Cut a short yarn tail for sewing. Stuff the head with polyfill.
Sew the opening closed.
EAR (Make 2)
Use Black yarn.
R1: With Black, sc 6 in magic ring (6)
R2: inc in each st around (12)
R3: (sc 1, inc) six times (18)
R4-5: sc in each st around (18)
R6: (sc 7, dec) two times (16)
R7-8: sc in each st around (16)
R9: (sc 2, dec) four times (12)
R10: sc in each st around (12)
R11: (sc 4, dec) two times (10)
R12: sc in each st around (10)
Finish with a sl st into the next stitch. Cut a long yarn tail for sewing. Sew the ears to the head.
NOSE
Use black yarn.

Finish with a sl st into the next stitch. Cut a long yarn tail for sewing. Sew the nose to the head.

Medium Dog Ear


Use White yarn.
R1: With White, sc 6 into magic ring (6)

R3: (sc 2, inc) three times (12)
R4: sc in each st around (12)
R5: (sc 2, inc) four times (16)
R6-7: sc in each st around (16)
R8: (sc 6, dec) two times (14)

the head.

Beagle Body
Use White yarn.

Large Arm with Thumb


Use White yarn.
puff st - *Yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yarn over, draw yarn through stitch. Yarn over, draw
yarn through 2 loops on hook. Repeat from * one more time in the same stitch, ending with 3
loops on the hook. Yarn over and draw yarn through all 3 loops.
R1: With White, sc 6 in magic ring (6)
R2: inc in each st around (12)
R3-4: sc in each st around (12)
R5: puff st, sc 3, dec, sc 4, dec (10)
R6: sc in each st around (10)
R7: (sc 3, dec) two times (8)
R8: sc in each st around (8)
R9: sc 6, dec (7)
R10: sc 5, dec (6)
Finish with a sl st into the next stitch. Cut a long yarn tail for sewing. Stuff the arm with polyfill.
Sew the arm to the body.

Small Long Leg
