experience.

Display Area. Is it incredibly important that every

single student see their artwork on display at least a

B. LESSON PROPER
1. Introduction
Line - it is a set of connected points in a straight path
that continue forever in opposite directions.

Examples and characteristics of line:

Vertical Lines - it is a line that runs straight up and
down, or bottom to top, and is perpendicular to
another line or surface. They suggest height and
strength because they extend towards the sky and
seem unshakable.

Horizontal Line - is a straight line that runs from

left to right or right to left, parallel to the horizon or
the x-axis. They suggest width, distance, calmness,
and stability.

Curved Line - it is a line that is bent and not

straight. They can be simply wavy or spiral. Such
lines convey the feelings of comfort and ease, as
well as sensual quality as they remind us of the
human body.

Diagonal Line - it is a straight line that slant in any

direction except horizontal or vertical. When is use,
they suggest movement or lack of stability.
Zigzag Line - are a series of diagonal lines joined at
ends. They can convey action and excitement, as
well as restlessness and anxiety.

D. INDEPENDENT PRACTICE
1. Creation
The teacher will ask the students to create their own
artwork.

This activity aims to give students the ability to

express their selves. Through that expression, they
can communicate by creating their own unique
emotions, thoughts and experiences.

“When you see and study another art, you’re seeing

the world through their eyes. When you create,
you’re letting the world see through yours”

The teacher will roam around once in a while to

check on the students.

E. POST ACTIVITY
1. Assignment
The teacher will ask the students about their artwork
using these guide questions:

How did you come up with that idea?

What are your inspirations?
What is the meaning of it for you?

The teacher will also give the students the freedom
