1. Drill

For our reading activity kindly read the


paragraphs provided.
(Students will read the super item)

Cheerdance is coined from the words, cheer and dance.


To cheer is to shout out words or phrases that may help
motivate and boost the morale of a playing team and
perform better during a game. Dance, on the other hand,
is a physical activity where one expresses emotions or
gestures while performing bodily movements usually in
time with rhythm. Cheerdancing rooted from cheerleading.

Cheerleading is the performance of a routine, usually


dominated by gymnastic skills such as jumps, tumbling
skills, lifts and tosses, combined with shouting of cheers
and yells to lead the crowd to cheer for a certain team
during a game or sport.
2. REVIEW
Last meeting we’ve tackled about Hip-Hop.
Can anyone tell me something about Hip-Hop

- One arm extended to side with other arm bent at


elbow in a half “T” motion.
- Arms are straight, above the head in a clasp and
slightly in front of the face.

- Arms bent at elbow, fists in front of shoulders.

- Arms extended straight down, in a clasp and


slightly in front of the body.

- One arm extended straight up, one arm on hip, in a


fist

- One arm extended to the side with other arm


extended in a punch motion. (Left L shown)
- One arm extended in a high “V” and the other arm
extended in a low “V” (Right Diagonal shown)

- Both arms extended straight out to the side and


parallel to the ground, relax the shoulders.

3. Replicating the Movements - Both arms parallel to the ground and bent at the
elbows, fists into shoulders.
Okay this time kindly move all the chairs at the
side and kindly gather yourselves at the center.
Please follow my lead.

So, this time I will repeat execute those Hand


Movements and Positions in Cheerdance.
Later on, you will replicate all those hand
movements and positions in cheerdance.

C. Concluding Activities

APPLICATION/GROUP ACTIVITIES

Group yourselves into three (3). I have here a


picture; what are you going to do is guess the (Students replicate my demonstration)
