b. Find the difference between 851.654 and 372.809 using the expanded form

3. a. Simplify (15𝑝3 𝑞 2 × 12𝑥 5 𝑦 3 ) ÷ (36𝑝𝑞 × 45𝑥𝑦)

b. The ages of 5 singers are 55, 52, 50, 𝑦 and 48. If their mean age is 47, find the value of 𝑦.

items?

c. Write an expression for the area of the shaded portion of the diagram below.
