Job description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Android Developer to join our team and help build high-quality mobile
applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Kotlin, a strong understanding of the
Android SDK, and experience with modern Android libraries and architecture patterns. You will
collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features while ensuring
performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Responsibilities:
● Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android development
tools.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Growth, and Design) to define, design,
and ship new features.
● Debug and resolve performance issues, memory leaks, and application crashes.
● Implement RESTful API integrations and third-party SDKs.
● Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best development practices.
● Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and best practices.
● Ensure UI/UX consistency by following Material Design principles and responsive UI
development.
● Stay updated with the latest trends in Android development and suggest improvements in app
architecture and development processes.
● Work with Git for version control and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Required Skills:
● Proficiency in Kotlin for Android development.
● Strong understanding of the Android SDK and Android development tools (e.g., Android
Studio).
● Experience with Jetpack libraries, Retrofit, Coroutines, and Room database.
● Basic knowledge of design patterns like MVP, MVVM, and Clean Architecture.
● Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integrating third-party SDKs.
● Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.
● Understanding of Material Design principles and responsive UI development.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
● Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile app deployment.
● Experience with testing frameworks such as Espresso, JUnit.
● Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose UI.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent
experience).
● 0-3 years of experience in Android app development.
● Portfolio of published or personal Android apps is a plus.
