Clean water is very important for life. Every living thing on Earth, from small insects to big
animals, needs water to stay alive. But not everyone has clean and safe water to drink. In
many places, people have to walk long distances to get water, and sometimes the water they
bring is contaminated. Contaminated water can make people sick with diseases like cholera,
diarrhea, and typhoid. This is why it is so important to make sure the water we drink is clean
and free from harmful substances.
Governments and other groups are trying to give clean water to people who need it. Simple
actions like boiling water, using water filters, and saving water can help. Clean water is not
only for drinking; we also need it for cooking, cleaning, and farming. Without clean water,
life would be very difficult. So, we should use water carefully and protect water sources
