UNIT 7: VIET NAM AND INTERNATIONAL ORGANISATIONS

Lesson 3: Listening
Viet Nam’s participation in international organizations

I. Objectives:
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to acquire all the knowledge, competence and
qualities stated in the following areas:
1. Knowledge:
-Listen for specific information in a conversation about Viet Nam’s foreign relations.
-Identify and use lexical item related to the international relations.

2. Competence:
- Develop communication skills and problem-solving skills
-Be collaborative and supportive in pair work and teamwork
- Actively join in class activities.
3. Personal qualities:
- Develop an awareness of Viet Nam’s foreign relations.
- Be respectful towards all organizations.

II. Teaching aids:


1. Learning materials: textbooks (Grade 10, Unit 7, Reading, page 79)
2. Equipment: computer, projector/TV, poster

III. Procedures:
1. Warm-up and leading: 5 mins
a. Aims:
- To arouse the classroom’s atmosphere.
- To lead in the lesson.
b. Content: Game – “Who’s faster”.
c. Expected outcomes: Ss are motivated to learn the new lesson.
