What is Personal Energy?
Personal energy is what results from our daily actions and from the “fuels”
which we use to feed all aspects of our whole (physical, mental, emotional,
and spiritual states).
The more we are conscious about where we focus our energy, what we use
to fuel our energy, and how we balance our energy, the better-quality energy
we have at our disposal.
We are all unique! There are no two people who are exactly alike - we may
connect with the frequencies of others but we are all born with unique
abilities and each have different needs. The common factor we all share is
basic human functionality:
Primordial batteries + daily recharging + control consumption +
conservation
(received at birth) (sources of energy) (awareness)
(efficiency)
All of these added together (and how we work with these functions) = our
DAILY PERSONAL ENERGY
Primordial batteries
Primordial means primary or fundamental. It’s a characteristic of the earliest
stage of development of an organism or part. Therefore, each person
receives a certain amount of “energy” at birth and together with our genetic
makeup determines the foundational or our primordial system.
Examples:
A. Some people are charged more at birth, stronger, and more resistant
to outside influences = these individuals usually experience better
overall health, more vitality, greater inner balance, and are more
positive or joyful.
B. Others are born less charged, with a weaker system, and less resistant
to outside influences = these individuals can lack vitality, become
easily bored, or be sickly.
***This does not mean that we cannot overcome some of these determining
factors that we are born with! Humans have an amazing capacity to
overcome these barriers and undergo personal transformation and
regeneration***
Our DNA is alive and is very sensitive to both inside and outside influences. It
is up to us to manage how to deal with these influences as they can have
enormous impact on our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. For
example, if we resign ourselves to the fact that we were born with a “weaker
set of batteries” and never try to change that in any way, this can affect our
personal energy in negative ways. On the other hand, if we were born with a
“stronger set of batteries” and constantly overdo things in our lives this can
also have a negative effect on our personal energy.
Daily Recharging
Life, health and your well-being depend to a large degree on how you
“recharge your batteries”. We’ve all heard the saying!
● Rest is important. Make sure you are getting enough sleep every night
and stick to a routine. Similar bedtimes and wake times keep your
body working at optimal capacity.
● Take time out for personal self-care. It is never selfish to fill your own
cup first as you can NEVER pour from an empty one.
● Learn to say NO. Too many demands on your time will pull you in too
many different directions and drain your energy severely if you are
already depleted or don’t have time.
● Create personal boundaries with those activities or people that “drain
your batteries”. Say no to the large gathering if you have to. Stay away
from energy vampires.
Notice I said “daily” and not weekly. We need to be mindful of our everyday
activities and habits. If we drain our batteries everyday this leads to illness,
negative thinking, and unhealthy habits.
Controlled Consumption
This area of our daily personal energy involves the consciousness we live in.
Our everyday actions and decisions have consequences and we must take
personal responsibility for them.
Examples:
Coffee:
This is a biggie! Many people - including me - start the day with 1 or 2 cups
of coffee, maybe 3 if we have not gotten enough sleep or are not indulging in
daily self-care.
Simply holding a cup of coffee decreases your electromagnetic or energetic
frequency by 8 MHz. Drinking the coffee decreases it by 14 MHz. (we will
discuss electromagnetic frequency shortly)
Caffeine:
● Decreases our “start” energy in the morning
● Acidizes the blood
● Removes calcium from the body
● Blocks detoxification efforts of organs or diet
● Creates a state of agitation that we confuse with “energy”
● Creates a crash later on in the day where our energy dips to a low
I know this is hard, but try switching to herbal tea or herbal tinctures made
from adaptogens such as ashwagandha or ginseng. These are natural,
healthy, and won’t create that crash later on in the day.
**Don’t go cold turkey** switch your coffee for herbal beverages or tinctures
every other day to let your body adjust to the reduced intake of caffeine.
Water:
Proper hydration is KEY to creating high quality energy to the whole being,
not just the physical body. Drinking fresh water every day and staying away
from sodas, energy drinks, and (yes) caffeine will help us maximize our
energy and keep us naturally alert, happy, healthy, and balanced.
Sodas and energy drinks deplete the body of nutrients, leave you worn out,
anxious, and it agitates our gut. High vibrations start from the inside out!
Ex: the body of a middle-aged adult is comprised of 78% water. Research
has been done which proves that water has memory and is alive. It is highly
sensitive to everything around it and takes on the energies of what is around
it. Water is found in fruits, vegetables, greens, herbs, and of course springs,
lakes, and oceans. Daily consumption of water and organisms that are alive
and made of water is very important in keeping your vibrational energy high!
Thoughts and words:
These things have tremendous power over our personal energies! When we
engage in fights and arguments we lower our vibration. Conflicts and
negative thinking can be destructive and cause us to use up much of our
personal energies. Ever feel exhausted after an argument or heated debate
on the internet? That’s because you’ve just lowered your vibration and used
up your energetic reserves. Walk away or log out of social media instead.
Laptops, cell phones, and WIFI:
In this day and age, these devices are very hard to avoid but they do
interfere with our personal electromagnetic field and we are still unaware of
the long-term consequences this could have on our physical, emotional, and
mental bodies. Our electromagnetic field is very sensitive to any exterior
waves that are around us and WIFI is the number 1 cause of this interruption
because it is virtually everywhere. Cell phones and laptops interrupt our
energetic fields when we keep them too close to our bodies for long periods
of time.
Answers? I’ve got some.
● Unplug and get out into nature. Go for a walk, hike, visit the park,
swim.
● Sleep with your cell phone in a different room or across the room to
give your body a break at night from the waves that emanate from it.
Better yet. Do this AND turn it off.
● Wear black tourmaline. This crystal contains a high amount of iron
which will absorb and harmonize EMF’s. It helps enhance the body’s
natural electrical field and is very grounding. Bonus!
● Don’t sit with your laptop on your lap or legs. This interferes with the
Solar Plexus chakra which is also called your “second brain” and
causes a negative influence on it. There are EMF laptop pads that you
can purchase to help absorb EMF’s while you work.
Energy Conservation
The efficient conservation of our energy is a process which is similar to
recharging and unfolds every day through our actions. So by not engaging in
an online fight, practicing self-care, eating healthy and consuming water,
avoiding caffeine and sodas, we set ourselves up for maintaining a high
vibrational lifestyle!
The more inner peace and balance we have, the calmer we will be our daily
processes will flow more easily and we conserve more energy.
The more anxious our thoughts are, full of worry and agitation, our emotions
will fluctuate and we will negatively influence our inner processes and spend
a tremendous amount of our personal energy resources. We also lower our
vibrations.
The main way we can conserve our energy is to get quality sleep and take
breaks during the day. Take time out to meditate and give your mind a rest.
If you don’t like to meditate, go for a walk or listen to some soothing music.

The Electromagnetic Frequency & it’s Importance

Electromagnetic frequency is the unseen part of every human being, plant,
animal, crystal, etc. and is generated at measurable megahertz (MHz)
frequencies. Everything that is alive emanates out an electromagnetic field
in the form of waves and at a specific frequency.
By using instruments that measure human and plant frequencies we now
have an indicator of what frequency our body needs to be in to function at a
healthy or high vibration and at what frequencies can cause disease, illness,
etc. Let’s look at the table below to see some examples of healthy and
unhealthy vibrations:

The lower the frequency of the body, the more susceptible we are to
invaders such as viruses, bacteria, and other microbes. Things like chronic
stress, anxiety, insomnia, and inflammation can lower our personal
frequencies to the point that some of these afflictions above can begin to
manifest. The higher we keep our frequency, meaning the more we rest
when we are tired and get a good night's sleep, eat well, drink plenty of
water, go outside, get exercise, etc. the higher our vibration will be which
keeps illness and disease at bay.
Not all solutions are quite as obvious though! There are many ways in which
we can lower our frequency that we tend to ignore or not think of
immediately.
Look for causes in the subtle planes:
● Emotional
● Mental
● Spiritual
Do an honest and clear analysis of these factors on top of the physical ones
mentioned above:
● Mental: do you obsess or worry about things that you cannot control?
Are you living in a constant state of fear?
● Emotional: do you frequently give in to negative emotions such as
anger, hate, jealousy, envy, despair, meanness?
● Spiritual: do you feel as though you are lost on your path? Do you feel
disconnected from others? Have you lost your connection to the
Divine?
**All of these things listed above are lower vibrational frequencies and
staying in this vibration can cause illness and disease to manifest as the
chart above shows**
Some solutions to these issues can include:
Therapy, breathwork, aromatherapy, acupuncture, water therapy, Reiki,
yoga, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, meditation, relaxation techniques such as EFT
tapping, quiet time, praying, or anything that balances your mental,
emotional, physical and/or spiritual state of being for the better! Focus on
your WHOLE BEING.

Aromatherapy - The highest vibrational remedy
Essential oils are considered to be the highest vibrational remedy we can use
to raise our frequency. They have been used for various purposes since the
Egyptian empire (c. 1570 to c. 1069 BCE) and are even mentioned in the
Bible. The definition of an essential oil is: a concentrated hydrophobic liquid
containing volatile chemical compounds from plants. This is not to be
confused with the essence of an oil. Essential oils contain the vital fluids and
components of plants which make them life giving. They contain the force of
life and give off a high vibrational energy.
EO’s positively influence each part of our being: physical, emotional, mental,
spiritual. They work in harmony with our whole being to heal us by:
● Penetrating deep into the DNA level
● Cleaning the receptors (receivers on the surface of cells)
● Deprogramming negative information we are holding on to
● Reprogramming with positive information
● Balancing the emotions
● Strengthening the immune system
● Eliminating & destroying microbes, viruses, and bacteria

Some ways you can use essential oils in your daily life to lift your vibration:
● Diffuse them
● Inhale them
● Dilute in a carrier oil and use directly on the body
● Add them to drinks and food (do your research on this one - not all
EO’s are meant to be ingested)
A Word on Food Consumption
We are all electrical beings made up of vibrating cells so to keep our
vibration at the highest possible frequency, we need to consume the highest
vibrating foods! For instance, veggies and fruits are considered “alive” and
meats are actually dead animal flesh so, although they offer protein, they
actually lower our vibration.
If you look at your diet I’m sure you won’t be surprised to see a link between
your energy levels and the types of foods you consume. Hence the saying
“you are what you eat”.

Connecting to the Living Energy Around You
Another way to raise your vibration is to connect to the living energy that is
around you. Some ways you can do this are:
● Lie down on the ground and feel the grass with your hands.
● Feel the wind and the way it blows in your hair and on your body.
● Hold an organic food in your hand; smell it, eat it and feel how it feeds
you.
● Play in the water such as a river, lake or ocean. Lie or sit in the sand.
Feel the waves over your body or feel how the water feels as you wade
through it.
● Keep plants in your home and office. Connect with them - sing to them
when you water them and create a connection with them.
● Embrace your partner or hug a friend and feel the transfer of energy
between you.
By doing these things you are consciously connecting to the world around
you by experience, not just the idea that these things exist. When you do
these things, you will become aware of just how many sources of living
energy there are!

Personal Energy Management
“Every time you say <YES> to something unimportant, you are saying
<NO> to something important” - Robin Sharma
Personal energy management is defined as how you manage your energy on
a daily basis and the process of having clear strategies to either improve it,
change it, keep it stable, or raise it. *You are the only person who can make
these changes because only YOU know what you really need*. Always follow
your intuition and listen to your body - how does it feel? Are you craving
certain foods? Do you feel lethargic? Are you dehydrated? The list can go on.
No one can ever have a better connection to your inner Universe than you!
Let’s look at an efficient long-term strategy to maintaining high personal
energy:
Step 1:
● Observe yourself naturally - observe yourself with love and the type of
mindset that will support your evolution.
● Try not to criticize yourself.
● Listen to your intuition not your mind. The ego is connected to the
mind and often gets in the way so listen to what your GUT is telling
you.
● Enjoy the process even if it seems slow. Making little changes here and
there can have a profound effect on you internally which will
eventually be seen by the people around you. You may even inspire
others to take action!
● Practice patience, will, love, courage, and humility in everything you
do.
Step 2:
● Make a list of your daily habits for 2 weeks. Figure out which habits are
unhealthy and choose one you want to change. When you have
successfully changed that habit, pick another one and continue the
process. Choose the ones that are:
○ Causing you stress and anxiety
○ Keeping you from getting proper sleep
○ Keeping you from eating healthy
○ Consuming too much of your personal energy
● Support your already healthy habits with kindness and love for yourself
● Observe your improvements & notice the increase in your personal
energy! (ex. At night reflect on your day and see what changes you
notice happening since you changed your routines/habits)
Here are some things to consider when you are looking at your daily habits:
● Think healthy and clearly
● Breathing correctly means breathing consciously
● Hydration is different from drinking
● Feeding is different from eating
● Resting is different from sleeping
● Relaxing is different from sitting
● Exercising is different from walking
● Consuming excessively means consuming yourself excessively
● Play is important at any age!
You will want to solve the cause of low personal energy, not the effect! Make
sure when you review your daily habits you look at every aspect of your
being: emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual.

Other Outer Energy Consuming Factors
Negative or aggressive individuals
● These can be friends, family, coworkers, etc.
● These are people who are vibrating at a low frequency
● The transfer of energy can affect your own vibratory pattern by
lowering it to their level
● Often referred to as “energy vampires”
Solutions:
● Set clear boundaries with people who drain your energy
● Walk away from combative people and choose not to engage
● Keep out of angry fights on the internet as much as you can
● Don’t react or accept another person’s inappropriate behavior or
dominating tendencies! In this way you are not giving away your
energy
● Communicate your needs clearly. Don’t be afraid of discussing an issue
or confrontation
Housing & Work Environments
Synthetic materials and metal roofs disturb our energy levels, Chi, etc. so
living in a home that is made of tiles, wood, and thatch allow the beneficial
energies of the universe to flow to us and nourish us
● Allow as much natural light, sun, breeze, and elements to flow through
your home as possible
● Diffuse high-quality essential oils in your home
● Have lots of plants around to cleanse the air and bring in the element
of earth
● Buildings made of metal, glass, and concrete act as sealed cages and
block us off from natural energy. If you work in a building with these
materials you may experience:
○ Alienation
○ Depression
○ Anger, rage, aggression
○ Lethargy
○ A higher and more aggressive Ego
Solutions:
● Take frequent breaks outside/eat your lunch outside if possible
● Meditate to relieve feelings of stress, depression, anger, etc.
Having a disorganized or messy home/work space
● When your home is in a constant state of messiness, it blocks the flow
of good energy that is trying to get to you
● When our homes are messy our inner state will be on the same
frequency of low vibration thus our actions will vibe on this low
frequency as well
Solutions:
● Tidy up the space in each room of your home
● Clear out all of the clutter that you can and take it to charity
● Practice Feng Shui
● Make sure your rooms are well ventilated
● Diffuse pleasant smells in your home to raise your vibration
Clothing
Synthetic clothing creates a field of positive ions around us but blocks the
negative ions from reaching us which in turn deprives us of the living energy
around our bodies. These fabrics are toxic.
● Some examples of synthetic clothing:
○ Polyester
○ Acrylic fabric
○ Spandex
○ Microfiber
○ Lycra
○ Gore-Tex
○ Synthetic fur, leather, and suede
○ Nylon
Choose natural clothing whenever you can! These fabrics attract negative
ions and have curative and healing properties to them.
● Some examples of natural clothing:
○ Cotton, organic especially if you can
○ Silk
○ Hemp
○ Linen
○ Bamboo
○ Jute
*Having these fabrics in your home as well as on your body attract the good
energies you need to vibrate at a high frequency so always try to choose
natural fabrics when you can!*
