MONDAY 1 Ephesians 1:11
WALKING IN OUR In whom also we have obtained
INHERITANCE IN an inheritance, being predestinated
CHRIST according to the purpose of him
who worketh all things after the
counsel of his own will

E very believer in Christ Jesus has made the most

powerful decision in life to step into God's best,
blessings, and plan of greatness. It is the most
important decision to make in your life- to come into
Christ, as you have been redeemed from the curse
into the blessing. Coming into Christ affords you the
right to become His child. Scriptures declare in John
1:12 "But as many as received him, to them he gave
rights to be called the children of God". As a child
born into a family, you have access to all the
properties in the family's name. Imagine a wealthy
man who has so many children and several
properties. Who do you think has the right to those
riches and wealth of properties? His children of
course. This is just a perfect allegory of our
relationship with God. When we come into Christ, we
are reborn into God's family. We become God's
children and therefore have access to all that God
has.

1
Most assuredly, there are benefits in the new
birth. Let's take a look at our opening scripture, we
see that coming into Christ affords us an inheritance.
Now you may ask, “pastor what are these
inheritances I've got? What are these birthrights of
mine?” Well, I will tell you right away - prosperity,
victory, health, promotion, abundance, grace, joy,
righteousness, and many others are what the death
and resurrection of Jesus Christ purchased for you as
inheritances. In Ephesians 1:3, the Bible confirms
that we have been blessed with all spiritual blessings
in the heavenly places. How then can all these
spiritual blessings become manifest in our lives?
The first step to realizing our inheritance in
Christ is through knowledge. Knowledge is light, it
makes you aware of what is possible. Scriptures
declare in Hosea 4:6 "my people perish for the lack of
knowledge". It is the lack of knowledge (of what
belongs to you in Christ) that will result in lack of
money, lack of health, lack of victory, and render you
unproductive in your Christian walk here on earth.

PRAYER FOCUS
Father in the name of Jesus, I FURTHER READING
declare that I'm walking in the Psalms 16:5-6,
accurate knowledge of your Romans 8:16-17,
Word, and I manifest all that is Galatians 4:1

TUESDAY 2 Ephesians 1:11
WALKING IN OUR In whom also we have obtained
INHERITANCE IN an inheritance, being predestinated
CHRIST 2 according to the purpose of him
who worketh all things after the
counsel of his own will

A s a believer in Christ, you have been born of God

and as such, you have been brought into all that
God has. Our opening text lets us know that we
obtained an inheritance. So, in Christ Jesus, we have
an inheritance. Knowing you have an inheritance is
not enough, you must proceed to find out what
exactly are the details of that inheritance.
This is where many Christians stop and become
frustrated as they don't experience the reality of
these inheritances in their own lives. It is not enough
to know that you have a car, you must know how to
drive it. Knowing that divine health is yours in Christ is
great, but have you learned how to 'drive' it? Have
you discovered how to activate kingdom prosperity?
This leads to the exact point I'm driving at. To enjoy
your inheritances in Christ, there must be the active
participation of your faith. You must seek to know
what to do to activate all that Christ has purchased

3
for you. Let's take a general subject of kingdom
prosperity as a case study. Scriptures declare in Luke
6:38 "Give and it shall be given unto you, good
measure, pressed down and shaken together and
running over shall men give to your bosom". Also, in
Proverbs 11:25, it says, "the liberal soul shall be made
fat…". To access prosperity in the kingdom, you have
to employ the principle of seed sowing. Neglecting
this principle will make you look like a natural man
who has no hope in the world.
So, while it is good to know what has been made
available to you in Christ, also learn the principles
that govern those inheritances and apply them. Only
in doing so can you enjoy to the fullest what has been
made available to you.

PRAYER FOCUS
Father in the name of Jesus, I FURTHER READING
declare that my faith is alive and Psalms 16:5-6,
I manifest all that is mine in Romans 8:16-17,

WEDNESDAY 3 John 14:16
YOU ARE And I will pray the Father,
and he shall give you another
NOT ALONE Comforter, that he may abide
with you forever;

T he Greek word translated 'Comforter' is

parakletos which means 'alongside to help'.
Jesus had been a comforter to his disciples
during the time they had been walking with Him.
However, now He is talking about leaving them,
and you can imagine the thoughts that must be
going through their minds. How will they ever get
along without Him? Jesus was a great one to have
around. Especially when they were caught in a
storm out on the lake, or if they had a tax man
bugging them, or when they were being
challenged by the hostile Pharisees, or when
there was a serious illness or death - Jesus was
such a comforter! His help always came in handy.
The Father had sent His Son into the world
to be a Comforter to man, and now His Son was
soon returning to the Father, but He had

5
promised to pray to the Father that He would
send to them another Comforter, one that would
be exactly what He was to them while He was
around, and even more.
As children of God, we are not alone. The
Lord has given us the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit
has come into our lives to guide us through life
and in our walk with God. And you know what?
He's going to be with us forever. He is ever
present to help.
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the
God-Head, He is the Spirit of God. He is not a
force, He is not a thing. The Holy Spirit is not just a
doctrine to learn or a subject to be studied, but a
Person to know. When we say He is the third
Person of the God-Head, we mean that He is
Himself, God. His guidance in our lives must be
revered and honored. You can know Him
intimately and follow Him closely. His ministry is
seen throughout the Bible and He is still available
to help you today.

PRAYER FOCUS

THURSDAY 4 Hebrews 11:6
FAITH HAS But without faith it is impossible to
please Him, for he who comes to
REWARDS God must believe that He is, and
that He is a rewarder of those who
diligently seek Him.

M ost people quote only the first part of

Hebrews 11:6— “without faith it is impossible
to please Him.” Yet, it goes on to say, “for he who
comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a
rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” This is
worthy of note, as it is an indicator that not only does
Faith please God, it also gets rewarded. God rewards
Faith.
The Bible says that “faith is the substance of
things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”
(Hebrews 11:1). So even in times of difficulty when
we don't seem to see things happening as we would
have them, we are to demonstrate our faith in God to
turn things around. When you come to the Lord with
your needs, believe that He is God and that He is a
rewarder. God has pleasure in this kind of faith. He

7
wants to be the rewarder of your faith in Him!
Beyond just having your needs met, do you
know that your demonstration of faith can earn you a
stake in the Kingdom? Sure, it can. Your faith can earn
you a place of honor. Several people in the Bible
demonstrated faith, pleased God, and got rewarded
for it. One of them was Rahab the harlot. When
Rahab, the harlot of Jericho, heard reports of how the
Lord had opened up the Red Sea for the children of
Israel, she believed that “He is God in heaven above
and on earth beneath” (Joshua 2:9–11). Though
Rahab had not personally witnessed the miracles,
she believed God and hid the Jewish spies from their
pursuers. Because of her faith, not only was she
spared from destruction that befell the whole of
Jericho, but she was also given a place in the “faith
hall of fame” in Hebrews 11. God was so pleased with
the faith of Rahab that He not only blessed her in her
lifetime, but He also put her into the genealogy of His
Son Jesus Christ. What a reward! You too can
demonstrate your faith and please God, knowing that
He is the rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

PRAYER FOCUS

FRIDAY 5 2 CORINTHIANS 4:13
SPEAK We having the same spirit of faith,
according as it is written, I believed,
THE WORD, and therefore have I spoken; we
CONSISTENTLY also believe, and therefore speak

H ave you ever found yourself in a situation where

you were involved in an activity, maybe doing
the dishes or doing the laundry, and suddenly you
started singing a song? Sure, you have had that
happen to you, haven't you? Yeah. Do you know why?
That's because the song was in your heart, it was so
much in your heart that it came out of your mouth
unconsciously. That's how faith is.
The spirit of faith speaks. No man can claim to
have faith if he does not speak. When you believe
something, you must talk about it, and most times it
is a reflex action. A faith that does not speak, is a faith
that would not work. The God kind of faith speaks. In
the book of Genesis, God spoke forth what he wanted
to see even when the earth was in chaos. Until He
spoke, nothing happened.
Some folks say I have faith and I know it in my
heart, yes it starts with the heart but it doesn't end

9
there, your mouth has to speak what your heart
believes. Speaking the word is affirming the truth
over your life. Faith is a speaking force.
Let's take for instance when a political aspirant
wins an election. He does not assume office until he
takes the oath, he must be sworn in by the word of his
mouth. Although he is the winner, that's just
knowledge; until he accepts it and takes the oath of
office, he doesn't have the right to that seat of power.
His confession is what puts him in the office.
Today don't let faith end in your heart, you must
speak it with your mouth also. As you speak in the
spirit of faith, you are admitted into the
manifestation of that which you desire. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
I declare that I have the spirit of
Faith, I speak blessings, I speak FURTHER READING
favor, and I declare victory over Genesis 1:3,
every situation I face. I surmount Proverbs 18:21,
challenges, and through my Mark 11:23
words, I experience God's Word
in my life.

SATURDAY 6 1PETER 2:1-2
Wherefore laying aside all malice, and
SPIRITUAL MATURITY, all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies,
A REQUIREMENT and all evil speakings, as newborn
FOR VICTORY babes, desire the sincere milk of the
Word, that ye may grow thereby

A t the point of salvation, we all heard the same

message: we heard about the saving grace and
finished works of Jesus, and how we should put our
faith in him to be saved. That's about all we heard. As
we know, faith is according to what we hear, because
faith comes by hearing. That message preached to us
produced faith in our hearts towards God, we
believed in Jesus and responded to the call of
salvation. The word was planted in our hearts that
day and faith was born. That faith is what Paul refers
to as “the measure of Faith” in Romans 12:3.
Faith is in measure, being that it is according to
how much we have been exposed to the Word of
God. That faith that was imparted into our hearts at
salvation, is not enough for all we would need on
earth. So, we are admonished just like a newborn, to
grow – we have got to feed our faith by hearing more
of God's Word. The more of God's Word we hear and

11
put into practice, the more our faith grows, and the
more victories we take. Whether or not we live a
victorious life is solely dependent on our faith.
Knowing this, we have the responsibility to put
deliberate and consistent effort into our spiritual
growth, by going voraciously for the Word of God. We
ought to get into our spirits as much Word as we can
get. This is why we attend church services and cell
meetings, indulge in rigorous study and meditation in
the Word, and submit to the ministry of our Pastors
as spiritual guides on the journey of our faith and
spiritual development. When we are committed to
our spiritual development, we will have cheap
victories in life.

SUNDAY 7 Jeremiah 29:11
WALKING For I know the thoughts that I
IN GOD'S think toward you, saith the LORD,
PROSPERITY thoughts of peace, and not of evil,
PLAN to give you an expected end

O ur opening scripture inspires faith and joy in our spirits. Is it

not wonderful to know that God is not playing with your life?
God is interested in your prosperity. The opening scripture says He
wants us to have an expected end. In another translation, it says,
“He wants to give us a future”. The future that God wills for us is a
future full of victories and success. He doesn't want us to suffer in
any way. But you see, many believers are yet to accept this truth.
They even say when they have challenges, that God is responsible
for it. They believe that any challenges they face may be a lesson
from God for a past wrong. This is a million times not true. God is
not responsible for the happenings of failures, setbacks, and
frustration that some believers seem to be going through. The
scriptures are very clear about it. James 1:17: "Every good gift and
every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father
of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning"
It says every good and perfect gift is from God. It therefore
means that anything opposite to good and perfect is not from God.
We must reject the lies of the devil to cause us pain and defeat. The
scriptures tell us to be prepared at all times so we can emerge
victorious against the wiles (tricks, schemes, and strategies) of the
devil. The deceptive antics of the devil in the lives of many is the
reason why they have settled for a failed life. God wants us to do
well in all that concerns us - in our finances, in our health, in our
careers, etc. The scriptures tell us that the path of the just is as a

13
shining light, that shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day
(Proverbs 4:18). This is God's plan for us. He wants us to go from
grace to grace, and from glory to glory.
If we are to experience His prosperity plan for our lives, we
have got to accept His Word for us irrespective of what we might be
experiencing. The scriptures tells us in 2 Corinthians 4:17, that our
light afflictions are but for a moment, and that they work for us an
exceeding weight of glory, and as such we look not at physical stuffs,
because they are temporal, but rather focus our gaze on the
spiritual, because that's where the reality is. So, we mustn't accept
the temporary situation as our fate. No! We should be like
Abraham our father. The scriptures tell us that he staggered not at
the promise of God. He was strong in faith. He didn't allow his
physical condition of childlessness to destroy the Word that God
had given to him.
If only you could see what God is showing you, you would
evolve into the success that you already are in Christ Jesus. The
scriptures tell us that eyes have not seen, neither ears heard, nor
has it entered our hearts, what God has prepared for them that love
him (1 Corinthians 2:9). If only you can see and accept his plan for
you! It doesn't matter what that challenge might be, it could be
that currently, you don't have a child of your own – it's not
important. Isaiah 54:1 “Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear;
break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail
with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the
children of the married wife, saith the LORD.” Instead of
complaining, the scripture above tells the barren to sing!
Hallelujah! We must refuse to recognize lying vanities from
henceforth, and embrace the mercies and blessings given to us in
Christ Jesus.

PRAYER FOCUS
Father in the name of Jesus, I declare FURTHER READING
that I am what God says I am, I have Joshua 1:8,
what He says I have, and I can do Psalms 1:1-3
what He says that I can do. I refuse
to accept anything contrary to His
plan for my life.

14
MONDAY 8 Isaiah 53:1
DIVINE HEALTH; Who hath believed our report?
and to whom is the arm of the
THE REPORT OF LORD revealed.
THE LORD

D ivine health is God's will for you. He created you,

and His desire and expectation is for you to live
long and strong on the earth. Too many Christians
have accepted the world's way of seeing health and
aging, and they embrace a decline in strength and
energy as time goes on. Even worse, they've begun to
expect disease, while taking the medical community
at their word concerning prevention and treatment.
As good as the medical community is, and
commendably so, the place of faith in God's Word in
the affairs of healthy living cannot be over-
emphasized. God's Word is the only truth that holds,
it is the lifeblood of the Believer in Christ.
None of the medical precautions, prescriptions,
and means of living in divine health will be as
effective without the Word of God coming out of our
mouths, no matter how well-schooled the doctors
may be. When we speak the Word of God, we are

15
enforcing our right to divine health, healing, and
longevity. Faith in God's Word will always bring
results! Simply put, don't spend time investing in
eating right, exercising, and optimizing your
hormones, and then speak sickness and death over
yourself. No. Don't do that. Rather, speak the word of
God only, and keep your whole body in check.
You may say “Well…I feel sick, shouldn't I say
how I feel? Should I lie about the way I feel?”. No, you
shouldn't declare your feelings, your feelings are not
the truth. No matter how you feel in your body,
declare the strength of God. Say, “I'm walking in
divine health.” Say it! Come on, say it now! That's how
to talk.
You know, The Israelites kept saying they were
going to die in the wilderness. That's where the
limitation of living to age 70 or 80 came from. God
had earlier put the marker at 120 (Gen 6), but they, by
their continuous declaration of death, reduced their
lifespan. Don't follow their example of unbelief.
Instead of speaking words of death, “let the weak say,
I am strong” (Joel 3:10, KJV). This is a vital part of
living in divine health. “Physical training is good, but
training for godliness is much better” (1 Timothy 4:8).
Take action, then line your speech up with God's
Word. Believe and declare the report of the Lord –
God's Word only.

CONFESSION
My body is the temple of the Holy FURTHER READING
Spirit; therefore, I refuse to house 3 John 2,
diseases and sicknesses. I live James 3:1-6
perpetually in divine health. Sickness
and Death are disabled, they have
no place in me.

16
TUESDAY 9 1 Timothy 6:12
FIGHT THE Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold
on eternal life, whereunto thou art
GOOD FIGHT also called, and hast professed a
good profession before many
witnesses.

W e know from the Word of God, that God

will meet our needs if we go to Him and
ask Him in faith. Yet in this world, we face
circumstances that can cause us to falter in our
faith. The economy, impending wars and social
unrest, the daily life and family issues we face can
cause us to quit the fight. But it is in these
particular times that we must fight the good fight
of faith!
Now is the time for us to believe God and
trust in His Word more than ever before. The
Bible says in First Timothy 6:12, that we are to
fight the good fight of faith. These are the times
when we must stand our ground and not
quit—even if it looks like things are going
sideways. We will be victorious if we believe His
Word and do not give up. It's one thing if you quit

17
a fight naturally, but when we embark upon this
spiritual fight and we quit in the middle of it, the
consequences can be extremely sobering;
whether or not we stay in the fight could mean
life or death. The fight of faith is that important.
If you will put your trust in the Word of God,
instead of in what you can do or see in the
natural, you will be ready to manifest your
victory. Get into God's Word and get your
spiritual muscles built up. Then go back out there
and meet the enemy at the center of the ring,
deliver him a strong punch with the Word of God,
and knock him right out of that circumstance!
If you're going to whip the devil in every
circumstance of life, you must have the attitude
that you refuse to quit, and that the devil will not
defeat you or take anything that legally belongs
to you again! Remember, in Christ, if you stay
faithful to God's Word, you are assured of victory
in every circumstance.

PRAYER FOCUS
I walk by faith and not FURTHER READING
2 Corinthians 5:7,
by sight. I consider one Romans 8:18
thing only, the Word of
God. I walk in victory.

18
WEDNESDAY 10 Hebrews 11:1
UNDERSTANDING Now, Faith is the substance of
FAITH things hoped for, the evidence
of things not seen.

T he above definition of Faith is the best definition of faith you can get
anywhere in the world.
It tells us that faith is the substance of what we hope for; it gives
substance to our hopes. It also goes ahead to tell us that it is the evidence of
things we don't see, that is to say, that faith is the title deed to prove that
what things we hope for and have not seen are real, and they do exist. It is
the proof of unseen realities.
Your faith is so vital, in fact, we are told that it is the victory that
overcomes the world (I John 5:4), and without it we can't please God
(Hebrews 11:6). Jesus said that if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed,
you can move mountains. (Mathew 17:20, Luke 17:6). So, if faith is that
important, don't you think you've got to study it and give more attention to
it?
Now, you might be saying, “well, how do I get faith? I don't think I have
faith”.
The Bible says, So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of
God- Romans 10:17 (KJV)
We can see from the scriptures that faith comes as we hear the
Word. This means that faith is a product of the word of God. Without the
word of God, there can be no faith.
It is not true that there are some Christians who have no faith at all.
We were born by the Word (I Peter 1:23), and the Word of God imparts
faith. The Bible says that when a man is born again, a measure of faith is
imparted to him. Everyone that's born again has faith (Romans 12:3). In
fact, it takes faith for you to believe in Jesus Christ, whom you have not seen.
In St John's Gospel Chapter 20, Jesus said to some of his disciples, “because

19
ye have seen me ye believe, but blessed are those who have not seen me
but believe”. Having not seen Jesus, and yet believing in him is faith.
So, Paul, through the Holy Ghost says in
Romans 12:3 “I say through the Grace that is given to me, to EVERY MAN
THAT IS AMONG YOU not to think of himself more highly than he ought, but
to think soberly, according as GOD HAS DEALT to every man THE MEASURE
OF FAITH”.
Everyone who's a child of God has faith, but the bible says it's given
in a measure – it's given small. Do you know why? It is because Faith is
according to the knowledge of the Word you have. And properly put, faith is
according to the knowledge of the Word of God you understand.
Faith is given small at salvation, because all we ever get to hear at
that point is about the saving grace of Jesus Christ for the remission of our
sins, and to give us eternal life. That is about all we hear. But that's not all
there is. That faith is not enough for everything you would ever need. So,
you've got to grow it by receiving more of God's Word. The more of the
Word you get into your spirit, the more faith you have.
After giving your heart to Christ, and after that you have faith as a
child of God, look at what your faith can do. Some people say “well, I
thought Jesus died! Why am I not seeing any change in my life?” Of course,
if he died there ought to be some changes in your life. Your life has to reflect
what he died to produce. But, you see, God does not function that way: the
benefits of salvation are not going to fall on you like ripe cherries off a tree;
you've got to use your faith.
Yes, God is a loving father, and as a loving father, he has a lot of provisions for
you but you've got to cooperate with His plan using your faith. Every
Christian individually has an inheritance apportioned in the right order to
him. The problem is how to access it. Faith takes the word of God from
being mere ink on paper to becoming reality.
I define faith as believing and acting on the word of God as the only
truth that holds, nothing wavering.
You have got to learn how to take God at His Word and produce a
miracle from what he has said.

PRAYER FOCUS
Father in the name of Jesus, thank FURTHER READING
you for your word that imparts 2 Corinthians 5:7,
faith to me. I receive Grace to act Hebrews 11:1-6

THURSDAY 11 1 Thessalonians 5:23
UNDERSTANDING And the very God of peace sanctify
THE HUMAN SPIRIT you wholly; and I pray God your
whole spirit and soul and body be
preserved blameless unto the coming
of our Lord Jesus Christ.

O ne of the things you have to understand on the

subject of faith is that faith is of the heart. Now
when we say heart, we are not referring to that
physical organ located at the chest region that pumps
blood around your body. No! When we say heart, we
are referring to your spirit: your core being, the real
man, the spirit man.
It's important to understand the makeup of
man. A lot of things will be clearer to us from God's
word if we can just understand and rightly divide
man. Who is man? Is he just a body? Or a mass mind?
Just who is he?
Some folks say that man is spirit, soul, and body,
to means that man is a tripartite being (i.e. having
three parts). But you see that's misleading.
Man was created in the image and likeness of
God (Genesis 1:26-27). This means that man looks
like God. So, if we must understand who man is,
we've got to find out who God is and what he looks
like. And where else can we find the answer but in
God's word? Most folks believe that God is a mystery
21
and you cannot understand God. But that's not true, just
listen and open your heart to the Word of God – the
scriptures.
In John 4:24, Jesus says that God is a spirit. Therefore,
if God is a spirit and man was made in His image (to look like
Him), therefore, man is a spirit – not just a spirit looking like
God, but a spirit like God Himself. He is not a soul; he is a
spirit. Now here's the order: Man is a spirit, he has a soul
and he lives in a body. Understand this.
The spirit of man, which is the real man, is the one
with whom God relates. The body (the physical man) serves
only as the casing in which the spirit man lives; the bible
talks about the inward man and the outward man (2
Corinthians 4:16). The inward man here refers to the spirit
and his soul: while the outward man refers to the body and
its senses.
The soul is to the spirit what the physical senses are to
the body. The body feels, tastes, smells, hears, and sees
with its senses, but the spirit does so with its soul.
Now why is this important? You might ask. It is
important to know this and be well-educated spiritually so
you can function well as a spiritual man, knowing the true
essence of life so as to set priorities aright. Know as a vital
truth, that the proper functioning of your spirit is what
determines your entire well-being; hence you must seek to
grow and develop your spirit through the Word and prayer
daily.

CONFESSION
I declare that I live from my spirit FURTHER READING
and not according to the dictates 2 Corinthians 4:16-18,

Spirit excite me and I am
growing up spiritually, in Jesus

FRIDAY 12 1 Corinthians 13:13
WALKING “And now abideth faith, hope,
IN LOVE charity, o these three; but the
greatest of these is charity”

O ur opening scripture tells us about three

great fruits of the Spirit, and it says that the
greatest is love. Charity in this text is the same
word for love. Walking in love is not an option for
a believer, it is the standard set by scriptures. As
great and as wonderful as faith is, the Scripture
says love is greater. Faith is an activator while love
is the motivator. Every action of faith carried out
by a believer must be motivated by love, hence
the scripture says it's 'faith that worketh by love'
(Galatians 5:6)
Scriptures show us that when Jesus was
asked what commandment was the greatest, he
said two things. Firstly, he said to love God with all
our might and strength, and then secondly to
love our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:36-
39). Love is the greatest force there is, love is
what made God send His only son to die for man.
23
We are who we are today because of the love of
God, and God expects us as believers to show
that same love to everyone around us whether or
not they are believers. Some people choose
whom they should love, but the Bible says to love
all men whether they are deserving of it or not.
The scripture says Jesus died for us while we were
yet sinners; he didn't die for us when we were
perfect, He died even when we didn't deserve it.
So, today while we go about our daily activities,
be intentional about showing love to people.
Many souls can be won to the Lord by a simple act
of love; you don't even need to say much, just by
the mere display of love you would have created
an atmosphere for the gospel to be effectively
preached to that fellow.
Walking in love is not a hard thing to do,
because we already have that nature of love on
our inside; all we have to do is nurture that which
already resides in us and manifest it outwardly.
It's like a seed, you keep watering and caring for it
until it grows into a tree that produces fruits. You
do so by constantly studying God's word and
spending time in fellowship with the Spirit, and as
you do so you will grow in your love walk.

PRAYER FOCUS
Father, in the name of Jesus I declare FURTHER READING
that I am a love child of a love God. Romans 5:8,
Today, I display outwardly the nature 1 Cor 13:1-8
of love that resides in me already
effortlessly to all those around me,
and as I do so I keep growing in love.
Thank you, Jesus!

SATURDAY 13 Mark 9:23
If thou canst believe, all things
BELIEVE IN THE are possible to him that believeth
MIRACULOUS

E veryone who believes in God should believe in

the miraculous. A Christian who doesn't believe
in miracles is yet to comprehend fully the power that
has been made available to us in Christ.
A miracle is the supernatural intervention of
God in the affairs of men. An intervention that defies
human reasoning, logic, or ability. A miracle
therefore defies the norms or the natural course or
order of things.
From our opening scripture, we understand
that if we do not believe, we shouldn't expect to see
the manifestation of God's power resulting in
miracles in our lives. So, it all starts with what we
believe. Until we believe that it is possible, it cannot
become our experience. This is the reason why we
have to be careful with the kind of information that
we allow into our hearts because this information
unconsciously forms our belief system. The
scriptures tell us in Romans 10:17, "that faith cometh
by hearing and hearing by the word". We need to
25
have our hearts saturated with the reality of the
power of the Holy Spirit, knowing that there is no
limit to what his power can do or make available in
our lives. Yes! Anything is possible.
The scriptures are full of testimonies of the
miracle-working ability of God. Testimonies of
financial provisions, healings, and mighty
deliverances. In John 6, for example, we see Jesus
miraculously feeding five thousand people with just
five loaves of bread and two fishes; that's
supernatural provision by the power of God. It
therefore means that if we believe and demand
supernatural supply in the name of Jesus today, we
will experience it.
Jesus has not changed, in Hebrews 13:8, it says
that: He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
The power of the Holy Spirit to cause a miracle
to happen in our lives today is still available. In John
15:16b, it says: "...that whatsoever ye shall ask of the
Father in my name, he may give it you".
The scriptures tell us emphatically that whatsoever
we shall ask of the Father in the name of Jesus shall be
given to us. Even if what you are believing for doesn't
physically exist anywhere, it can be created just for
you. Therefore, be deliberate and practical about it
as you go out today. Believe God for a specific miracle
in your life and you shall have it.

PRAYER FOCUS
Father in the name of Jesus, I FURTHER READING
believe in your miracle-working John 16:23-24,
ability, and as I go out today I Matthew 17:20
experience the miraculous at
work in everything I do.

26
SUNDAY 14 James 5:16b (AMP)
THE PRAYER The earnest (heartfelt, continued)
prayer of a righteous man makes
CALLED tremendous power available
EARNEST dynamic in its working.

O ur opening text for today is so important even

as we desire to see our prayers answered. It
gives us an understanding of the attitude or character
with which we should pray. Some folks no longer
believe in the potency of prayer because they do not
receive answers when they pray. There could be
many factors responsible for this, one of which is the
attitude with which we pray. We are told here that
anytime we get on our knees to pray; we have got to
be earnest (fervent) about it, else power will not be
made available to us, and if power is not released on
our behalf, there will be no change effected.
When we say Earnest, what do we mean? We
are talking about being involved emotionally in your
prayers. Many folks just pray to pass the time. Their
prayers are not heartfelt. Their prayers are not been
released from the core of their spirits.
If then we are to release our emotions when we
pray, we would need to take time to ponder on what

27
we want to make spiritual power available to change,
and find out accurately what God has said concerning
it in His word - this would give us an emotional
disposition towards the situation and power would
be released. For example, someone who has been
attacked with sickness in his body ought to have a
disposition of anger against sickness in prayer
because Jesus has already been wounded for
sicknesses and diseases (Isaiah 53:5). In fact, the
scriptures tell us in Matthew 8:17 that Jesus Christ
took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses on His
body. If truly Jesus had dealt with sickness and
diseases, when we pray we have got to have a certain
level of anger as we insist on our healing! Only then
can power be made available to us.
The prayer of King Hezekiah when he was faced
with a verdict of death from God is also a good
example of one who was deeply involved in his
prayers. We were told that after he gave accurate
reasons from the word on why he should keep living
and not die, he wept seriously (2 Kings 20:1-6). This
was the height of being emotionally involved in the
place of prayer.
Don't just mumble words when you pray, allow
your prayers to come from your spirit, and truly
power will be released for a tangible change
irrespective of the situation or challenge.

Confession
Father in the name of Jesus, I declare FURTHER READING
that my heart is focused on that Exodus 3:7-9,
which I am currently praying about, 1 Samuel 1:10
and as I release my faith, miracle-
working power is released for a
change.

MONDAY 15 Proverbs 18:21
KEEP YOUR HEALTH Death and life are in the power
IN CHECK WITH YOUR of the tongues and they that love
WORDS it shall eat the fruit thereof

T he words you speak are very powerful and have a great

effect (positive or negative) on your life here on earth. Your
words are so important as they have the power to determine
your fate even in the life after now. At salvation, after we believe
the gospel, we've got to confess Jesus as our Lord, or else we are
not saved. Therefore, we got admitted into the kingdom of God
by saying words (Romans 10:10). The kind of life you are living
today is the result of your tongue, that is, a cumulation of
everything that you have been saying. Your words direct the
course of your life, positively or otherwise.
The Bible says in James 3:2:
“for in many things we offend all, but if any man offend not in
words, the same is a perfect man, and able to bridle the whole
body”.
Your tongue can determine the state of your health. This
means that if your confessions about your health are always
negative, your body would gravitate towards weakness,
infirmities, or sicknesses; but if the opposite is the case, your
experience would be that of strength and wholeness. Start
meditating on scriptures that talk about the results and effect of
the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ on your health, and
consciously declare them daily.
The scriptures tell us in Matthew 8:17, that Jesus took our
infirmities and sicknesses on his body on the cross. Contemplate

29
this truth, allow it to soak into your spirit, personalize it, and daily
declare that Jesus has taken from you all the infirmities and
sicknesses that you could have ever suffered from in your
lifetime, and as a result of this, you are walking in perfect health.
In another portion of scripture, in Rom 8:11, it says that: "…if the
Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he
that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal
bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you"
This is very powerful. This means that if the same Holy
Ghost that raised Jesus from the dead indwells our physical body,
he shall also make alive any part of our body experiencing death!
So you can declare that the power of the Spirit is moving around
your body, and if there is anything present in your body that is a
concern to you, you can declare that the Spirit of God is fixing it.
It's that simple, with your words you can determine the state of
your physical body. Jesus clearly stated that we shall have
whatsoever we say (Mark 11:23). Therefore, regulate your health
and life by constantly speaking faith-filled words daily.
Do not allow a physical feeling of symptoms of sicknesses
and disease to give you a negative confession. We have folks who
have become used to declaring their physical health conditions
rather than declaring what the word has said about their health.
Any time we do this as believers, we render the ministry of the
word and spirit inactive in our health. The scriptures tell us that
where the word of a king is there is power (Ecclesiastes 8:4), and
we have been made kings in Christ (Revelation 1:6). Therefore,
we must be careful with the words we use concerning our
physical and all-round well-being and vitality.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the FURTHER READING
divine health that is made Romans 8:11,
available to me in Christ. I speak 1 Peter 3:10
strength into my body and every
fiber of my being in Jesus name.
Amen. 30
TUESDAY 16 1 John 5:14
BE CONFIDENT And this is the confidence that we
have in him, that if we ask anything
IN PRAYER according to his will, he heareth us

O ur opening text for today is so important for our victory in

prayer. If every time as believers when we pray we see the
results in answers, It would become more exciting to pray. Many
folks have given up on prayer as they don't see the manifestation of
their prayers. Those folks could even conclude that God delights in
seeing them suffer because He doesn't love them, or else He would
have answered their prayers. But you see, the truth is, God loves us
so much not to grant us our requests in prayer if we approach Him
the right way. God wants us to be joyful by granting us our desires in
prayer.
John 16:24:
“Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall
receive, that your joy may be full.”
The right approach in prayer positions us to receive answers.
Our opening scripture teaches us to approach God in prayer with
confidence. Yes! Confidence that He is going to answer our
prayers. Where should this confidence come from? It should come
from the word of God. It says if we ask anything according to his
will; God's will is His word. That means, if we search diligently and
find His word concerning our specific area of need before going to
pray, we should be confident in prayer knowing that our prayers are
going to be answered. Many folks are not fully persuaded that their
prayers will be answered, they know that God answers prayers, but

31
they are not sure if He wants to grant their request or not, just like
the leprous man who met Jesus (Matthew 8:2). In Hebrews 4:16,
the scripture declares:
"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we
may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need".
Hallelujah! Knowing that when we pray, God gives us a
complete audience irrespective of the challenge, we are to come
boldly into His presence. Some folks are more conscious of their
inability than the unfailing ability of God. The scriptures tell us that
God is not a man and that he should lie (Numbers 23:19). In
Matthew 24:35, the scriptures declare that heaven and earth shall
pass away, but His word would not pass away. This should build faith
and confidence in our hearts, knowing that His word cannot be
broken and that if His word says that when we pray according to His
will he hears us, He truly has heard and will answer us.
God has not stopped answering prayers. In Acts 12, when
Peter was arrested, the church prayed and an angel of the Lord was
sent to release him. When Daniel discovered that the number of
years in the word concerning the freedom of God's people that
Jeremiah spoke about had passed, he took the promise in the word
and prayed, and there was a supernatural shift in the Spirit. Don't
waste time in prayer, go for the will of God in His word concerning
the issue of your concern, and be confident and bold in prayer. After
praying, know that God has heard you and also that He has
answered you. If you understand this, you ought to rejoice and not
complain about the situation anymore, knowing that things have
changed already in the realm of the Spirit.

PRAYER FOCUS
Father, in the name of Jesus, I FURTHER READING
thank you for your unfailing love Jeremiah 29:12-13,
towards me. I declare that I Hebrews 4:16
approach your presence always
with boldness in your word, and
therefore I always receive
answers to my prayers.

WEDNESDAY 17 Luke 15:7
WE ARE HIS I say unto you, likewise joy shall
PARTNERS IN be in heaven over one sinner that
WINNING repented, more than over ninety
and nine just persons, which need
OTHERS no repentance.

I n life, many people pay attention to things that

aren't so important. They strive to be famous and
gain human recognition, but this isn't what God
wants. When you eventually stand before the master,
He won't ask for the accolades you received from
men or the wealth you amassed while on earth.
Rather, He'll be interested in what you did with the
gospel in saving souls. It's clear from our opening
verse what God is after; He wants you to love Him,
and live for Him as His partner in soul-winning.
Daniel 12:3 says "and they that be wise shall
shine as the brightness of the firmament, and they
that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever
and ever ". Living for the Lord and partnering with
Him to win the lost is the highest calling and greatest
honor! You'll only experience maximum fulfillment
and joy if your passion, emotions, desires, and
appetites are founded on Christ, and your pursuit is

33
the establishment of His righteousness in the hearts
of men.
Every soul on earth is valuable to God. He
ransomed all men with the precious blood of His son
Jesus, that's why when one sinner is saved, there is
joy in heaven. We therefore have the responsibility of
taking the gospel to the ends of the earth; the
salvation of souls should be our passion.
Plan a personal soul-winning outreach daily.
The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus have
reconciled even the worst sinner to God. It has made
it possible for men to become the sons of God but
many in the world still don't know this. So, make soul-
winning your top priority in everything, it's our job to
proclaim the truth to them. We are His partners in
soul-winning. Hallelujah!

PRAYER FOCUS
Dear Father, I thank you for the honor of making FURTHER READING
me your partner in winning others. I understand
my purpose on earth: to be your light, a minister Mark 16:15,
of reconciliation, pointing men in the direction of 2 Corinthians 5:18-20
your grace to receive salvation. You've made me
the Dispenser of your glory and righteousness.
Thank you for this high calling in Jesus name!
Amen

34
THURSDAY 18 John 7:38
LOOK He that believeth on me, as the
INWARDS scripture hath said, out of his belly
shall flow rivers of living water.

T he understanding of what we have been given in Christ is key

to our reigning over life's situation and circumstances. Our
opening text unveils to us that life resides in us. Is it not amazing
to know, that we can from our spirits, by the Holy Ghost, bring
forth life to every dead situation?
Every believer was given the advantage when they
accepted Jesus as their Lord and saviour. Much more was done in
them when they received the Holy Spirit into their lives. When
Jesus walked the earth, His experiences were that of victory and
success. This was because He always had divine inspiration on
what to do at every moment in His journey. When people became
curious as to why He was having the kind of results he was having,
He showed them His secret. He said in John 5:30:
"…by myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my
judgment is just"
He also said John 14:10, that It was His father that dwelt in
him, that did the work. That meant His success was based on the
consistent leadings and guidance from the Holy Ghost within Him.
One time, Jesus was faced with a very dicey situation (John 8:3-
11). A woman who was caught in adultery was brought before
him waiting for his condemnation so they could stone her to
death. If he had said that she should be left alone, they would have
said that he was breaking the law of Moses, if he said they should

35
kill her, they probably would have used it against him. At that
point, He had to go inside of himself and the Spirit gave him the
exact Wisdom with which he came out of this dicey situation. We
would function in the accuracy of wisdom if only we always
respond from within.
The judgement of death would have become the fate of
Daniel and his peers if the dream and the interpretation were not
told by the king (Daniel 2:4-49). But thank God, Daniel knew that
there was a God that reveals secrets and after communication in
prayer, he came up with the details that the king wanted and
bailed everyone.
The Holy Spirit on our inside is present in our lives to guide
us and to give us direction on how to go about our lives. We ought
to take advantage of His presence in our lives. We have got to
know how to go inside of ourselves in prayer and fellowship to
seek His direction concerning anything we want to do in life. We
see believers today instead of engaging the greater one on their
inside, they rather go and seek counsel from those who are not
even born again, and at the end of the day, they are worse for it.
The scriptures tell us that God has set eternity in our hearts! That
means we are not supposed to be confused, because all that we
require has been put in us; but only by the Holy Spirit in us can we
access and flow in them. The answer to the question you have
been asking about your finances, job, career, marriage, and
ministry is inside you.
Many believers have drifted into worrying rather than
looking inward for what they are believing for. In Genesis 1, the
scriptures tell us that, when the world created by God was in
chaos, God had to go inside of himself to bring the solution. We
have been created to function like God and as such we have to
look within to pull out solutions to every challenge we face.

PRAYER FOCUS
Father in the name of Jesus, I FURTHER READING
declare that from my spirit, by Isaiah 30:21,
the Holy Ghost, I am accurately John 14:26
led in all the affairs of my life.

36
FRIDAY 19 Act 6:8
BE FULL And Stephen, full of faith and
power, did great wonders and
OF FAITH miracles among the people.

B eing faithful or infused is the key to a life of victory. In our opening

scripture, it says Stephen one of the seven selected to serve
tables, commanded great wonders and miracles, and his faith was
one of the distinguishing factors listed that was responsible for it. It is
not enough to be faithful to the things of God, God requires us to be
full of faith. We have folks who are so committed to the details
concerning their daily activities in church but are not in faith, and they
wonder why their lives keep going in the direction opposite the
experiences of the word. They are consistently plagued by sickness,
disease, lack, and oppression. The reason is very simple; they are not
active in their faith walk. The scriptures tell us that without faith it is
impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). If God is not pleased, that
means He cannot be involved in the activities of our life. That means if
we must commit God in our lives, we must pay attention to the
building of our faith.
In Romans 1:8, Paul in his writing to the Roman church, said:
"First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is
spoken of throughout the whole world".
This was the first thing at work in their lives that Paul
commended them for. What a report! Anyone who pays attention to
the active participation of his faith, would live a life of victory every
day. The life of a believer is a life that ought to be characterized by
faith because our faith is our victory (1 John 5:4). Some folks believe
that faith is a tool that they can pick up to use in their time of trouble

37
and the heat of trials. Not so; we were born into the kingdom by faith
and we ought to live constantly by it. As fishes require water to
survive, so also every believer requires faith for a successful life here
on earth.
Do not wait for the evil day before you develop your faith. Faith
is for living, and is as vital as you breathe; never neglect it.
In Faith, we respond to and from the word of God written to us. The
scripture tells us in Hebrews 4:16,
"the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-
edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit,
and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and
intents of the heart"
That means the word of God is where the ability of God is
made manifest. So, if we want to see the ability of God strong in our
lives, then we must be full of the word.
As a believer, the word of God should be the only basis for your
belief. Now some folks may ask, what if I'm faced with difficulties? This
is when your faith ought to be more active because all things are
supposed to work in our favour, including negative situations
(Romans 8:28). It is not so much about the challenges in the world, it's
about where we are standing and operating from. Take your stance in
the word of God. Allow the word of God to pattern your mind, speech,
and actions, and you'll see tremendous changes in your life.
You may say, "But Pastor, I've been believing and acting on the
word but there are still no changes in my life". Well, when you feel you
have done all that the word of God has said you should do, and still no
results, then you ought to check what you've been believing and
acting on, because if it has its root in what God has said or is saying,
then it must work.
In faith, you don't try to make it work or guess if it will work,
because faith has worked. Therefore, surround yourself today with
the accurate revelation of the word of God, strengthen the muscles of
your faith, and watch your life soar.

PRAYER FOCUS
Dear Father, I thank you for your FURTHER READING
word. I feed my faith with the Matthew 7:24-29,
revelation of your word, and as my Romans 1:17
faith rises, I take giant strides by
today, and I receive my desired
results in Jesus name. Amen

38
SATURDAY 20 John 16:33
THE TRIUMPHANT These things have I spoken unto you,
that in me ye might have peace. In the
LIFE world ye shall have tribulation: but be
of good cheer; I have overcome the
world.

T his promise in our opening text today is a pill to strengthen

us in our walk on earth. Jesus speaking to his disciples here,
informs them beforehand that they would be faced with
challenges, but told them to draw strength from the reality that
He had conquered the world already. He conquered sicknesses,
diseases, failure, lack, and all forms of negativity, not for himself,
but for us. These profound words of Jesus should be our source
of confidence and boldness when we are confronted with
challenges.
Jesus never promised us that we wouldn't have
challenges. In fact, in Isaiah 43:2, the prophet Isaiah by the Spirit
gives us a clearer picture. He said:
"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And
through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk
through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame
scorch you"
This should give us a consciousness that we are not alone,
because Jesus has come to live in us today by the Holy Ghost. If
this is true, why then should we continue to live our lives in fear?
Many believers live perpetually in fear, and this has been the
stronghold responsible for their defeats and oppression. The
scriptures tell us to be strong in the Lord and in the power of his

39
might (Ephesians 6:10). Is it not interesting to know that God
doesn't want us to be bold or confident in our physical abilities
but in His power at work and operational in our lives? Those
miracles we desire will not happen by our power or might, but
by the Spirit in us, that works through us. In Christ, we have been
given a life that's superior to everything that life could ever
throw at us. But it is your responsibility to live that life out from
your spirit into the physical.
We have been born of God and as such we are superior to
Satan. This means we already have the victory. You may say “But
there's nothing in my life that looks victorious”. Here's why it
looks to you that victory is inconsistent: your deficiency in faith!
In 1 John 5:4, we are told that whatsoever is born of God has
overcome the world and that this overcoming victory is our
faith. Continuous victory is tied to your faith therefore, you must
be trained and developed in the faith walk, or else victory will
not be consistent.
What do you believe and what have did you consider as
your reality? Don't let circumstances dictate to you what your
reality is, no! You are to define by the word, what reality is to
you. So next time when your bank account does not reflect the
abundance of the kingdom, don't go saying “I'm broke”, no!
Rather declare your status as a prosperous man or woman, and
command your account to comply to your inheritance in Christ.
Take the word of God in your mouth, and speak it boldly over
your life and everything that concerns you. This means that you
need to know what the word says concerning you, meditate on
it, and speak it. When you speak from a place of revelation,
changes are bound to happen.

PRAYER FOCUS
I hail from God, therefore I am FURTHER READING

and their operations. I am Philippians 4:19,

SUNDAY 21 John 14:16
SUPERNATURAL And I will pray the Father, and he
shall give you another Comforter,
ASSISTANCE that he may abide with you forever

E veryone who is born again, and has received the Holy Spirit,
is not alone in this world. Jesus before he departed the
earth, in our opening text promised to send us help and
assistance in the person of the Holy Spirit. Jesus knew that we
would not be able to live the life of victory that we have been
called to without the Holy Spirit. Before he started his earthly
ministry and assignment, He had to receive the Holy Spirit, and
this was the reason for the manifestations of power and victory
that He experienced. The scriptures tell us that Jesus received
the Spirit without measure (John 3:34).
We cannot afford to live in a world full of all kinds of
negativities without being assisted. If we do, we are assured to
fail – it is a risk to live your life without assistance from the realm
of the Spirit. This was why Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to us. The
Holy Spirit is our helper here on earth. Irrespective of what we
might be doing physically, we need Him to help us. We see the
effect on the lives of the Apostles after they had received the
Holy Spirit. Ordinarily, Peter was a fearful person as we see in
Luke 22:56-60, where he, out of fear denied ever having
anything to do with Jesus. He genuinely loved Jesus but he was
fearful. But after he received the Holy Spirit, he received the
boldness to declare the gospel before thousands.

41
We were not left on the earth to figure out things for ourselves,
but rather we were given the Holy Spirit, our forever comforter
and guide. This means that we are not without help, Hallelujah!
So, it is wrong as a child of God to say, "Oh, I wish I had help!", not
so! The very spirit of God lives inside of you, you have all the help
you need! However, it is our responsibility to activate His
ministry in our life.
The Holy Spirit acts on the word of God hence, we need to
get addicted to the scriptures. There are folks who after being
filled with the Spirit, still look as though they are without help.
The reason is that they have not activated the helping ministry
of the Spirit. Feast on the scriptures, find out every scripture
that affects every area of your life that you want to see changes.
Take out time not just to study the scriptures, but to meditate on
them till light breaks forth within you. Speak in tongues more
often and allow God to arise within you.
It is much easier to help a friend than an utter stranger.
The same is true with the Holy Ghost, He is a real person who we
ought to have an active relationship with. The more you spend
time with Him in prayer, the study of the word, and fellowship,
the easier it becomes for you to access His voice all the time.
So today, take deliberate steps to fellowship with the
Spirit. If you are yet to receive Him, you can do so today. Being
born again is the only requirement to receive the Holy Spirit into
our lives. We can receive the Holy Spirit into our lives just the
same way we were born again; by declaring that we believe in
His ministry and that we welcome him to come into our lives in
the name of Jesus, to help and guide us in the course of our lives.

MONDAY 22 Matthew 9:20-22
FAITH HAS And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue
of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the

ACTIONS hem of his garment: For she said within herself If I may
but touch his garment, I shall be whole. But Jesus turned
him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of
good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the
woman was made whole from that hour."

I n our opening scripture for today, we see an operation of the

spirit of faith. In the operation of the spirit of faith, there are
the corresponding actions of faith that we must engage in to see
the changes that we desire. These corresponding actions of
faith therefore become our responsibility, or else there would
be no tangible changes in our lives.
In 2 Corinthians 4:13 scriptures say:
"We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I
believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and
therefore speak;"
This scripture gives us a protocol in faith. We've got to
find out first what has been written in the word, believe it, and
act on it, or else it will not be manifested in our lives. It is not
enough to hear the word, we have got to exercise the word, and
here is where action comes in. As we exercise the word, our faith
becomes stronger and more effective. The word that would
produce results is the word acted upon. The woman in our
opening text probably had heard so much about the healing
ministry of Jesus and was convinced that Jesus could bring her
the healing that she desired. But you see, she didn't stop here. It
is not enough to get excited by the word, we must take it beyond
excitement, the scriptures tell us that she spoke, she declared

43
what she wanted and didn't stop here, but she acted on what
she believed, and she got her miracle.
You too can get your miracle today by acting on the word.
Make up your mind to do every word that you have come to
know by revelation in the word. The scriptures tell us in James
1:22(New living translation):
"But don't just listen to God's word. You must do what it says.
Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves".
God's word is very clear concerning every area of our life:
our health, finances, career, family, and ministry. If we have
discovered by revelation His word concerning our area of need,
irrespective of the difficulty or challenge, we've got to take
action that proves that we truly believe. Every time in the
scriptures where we found folks ready to act the word, there
was a miracle. During the wedding feast at Cana in John 2:1-5,
Mary walked up to Jesus and informed him of the circumstance
that they were faced with but she didn't stop there, she went
ahead to instruct that they do whatever He was going to tell
them, and when they did, there was a miracle.
Think about it, a woman who had been bleeding for 12
years nonstop, by now, she probably was smelling badly but that
didn't deter her. She heard about Jesus the miracle worker, and
faith was birthed in her heart for healing, then she took a step
further and kept declaring her healing would happen as she
made contact with Jesus. Notice that she didn't wait to observe
if it would work, she touched and turned!
This is the same way our faith ought to be active. Faith
comes when we hear the word, but it's not supposed to end
there, we have a responsibility to get that word working and this
starts when we follow the example of this woman of faith.

PRAYER
Father in the name of Jesus, my FURTHER READING
faith is alive and active, and I Matthew 8:5-13;
rule and reign today over every 15:22-28
circumstance and challenge.

TUESDAY 23 John 16:13
INSIGHT INTO Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is
come, he will guide you into all truth: for
REALITY he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever
he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he
will shew you things to come

I n our opening text for today, we are shown something that

can transform our lives. Before Jesus left the earth, He
promised to send the Holy Spirit to us. The Holy Spirit has
several ministries to fulfill in the life of a believer. One of those
ministries is the teaching ministry. Our opening scripture calls
him the Spirit of Truth. Truth means Insight into Reality.
Therefore, the Holy Ghost has been sent to lead us into the
understanding of the revelations and realities of the Word. If we
study the word without understanding it, it would not be
effective in our lives. Jesus spoke about a group of people who
did not understand the word:
Matthew 13:19
When anyone heareth the word of the kingdom, and
understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth
away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received
seed by the wayside.
The understanding of the word is what strengthens our
belief, and only the Holy Spirit can lead us into the mind of God
in scriptures, as the scriptures were written by men under His
inspiration (2 Peter 1:21). This is why before we go into the study
of the word, we are supposed to take out some time to pray that
the Spirit gives us the revelation in the word. No wonder Paul
prayed this prayer for the church in Ephesians 1:17-18:

45
"that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may
give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge
of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that
you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the
riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints"
Only when we are given insight by the Holy Spirit into the
realities in the Word, can we see the hidden mysteries; that
hidden wisdom meant for our glory and manifestation. We see
many folks get confused when studying the Word because they
have yet to access the light of the Holy Ghost in their study. This
was the case of the Ethiopian eunuch whom Philip met on the
way.
Act 8:30-31
"So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah,
and said, “Do you understand what you are reading, and he said,
“How can I unless someone guides me?” And he asked Philip to
come up and sit with him"
Though he was educated and had a zeal for the things of
God, yet he couldn't understand the scriptures until it was
explained to him by Philip who had the revelation by the
inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Never be in assumption that you
understand the word, ask the Holy Spirit for the revelation that
is being communicated in the scriptures that you are studying.
He would be so glad to flood your heart with the revelation
behind it. This is His ministry in our lives, and we need to always
activate in prayer before we go into the study or while studying
the Word. This way, the word would become more profitable to
us.

WEDNESDAY 24 Matthew 12:37
YOUR WORDS CREATE For by thy words thou shall be justified,
THE EXPERIENCES OF and by thy words thou shall be condemned.
YOUR LIFE

W ords are very powerful. They possess the

ability to create and to destroy. When spoken
or released they become active. Jesus in our opening
scripture, admonishes us on the effect of our words.
He tells us that they would either make us free or put
us in bondage. How true is that today! Most people's
experiences are a product of the words that they
might have spoken in the past. Thank God we have an
opportunity to change those experiences by
speaking differently; speaking words consistent with
God's will for us in His word.
In all the miracles that happened in Jesus' ministry
while he was still on the earth, we see that many
times they became a reality when He spoke. He
spoke whatever he wanted to see into existence. The
most powerful force in life is the force of words. Little
wonder Jesus cautioned us not to speak empty,
inoperative words (Matthew 12:36). He said in John

47
6:63, “...the words that I speak unto you, they are
spirit, and they are life”. The same is true for your
words, they are eternal.
Romans 10:9, tells us, “That if thou shall confess
with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in
thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved”. A man will go to hell or heaven
based on his words; either he speaks that which God
said to speak for salvation so he would be saved, or if
he doesn't, he would be damned; it's that simple.
There are blessings untold for the one who is
born again, but to enjoy them, you must
acknowledge and speak them forth. 1 Peter 3:10 says
anyone who wants to enjoy life and health should
speak wholesomely. Where you are today in life, is a
reflection of what you have been saying all your life.
Therefore, build your life with the right words.
Only speak words that are consistent with the
glorious life of health, wealth, and joy that you have
in Christ Jesus.

THURSDAY 25 Proverbs 4:7
BE GUIDED Wisdom is the principal thing;
therefore get wisdom: and with
BY WISDOM all thy getting get understanding.

W isdom is the force of the Spirit that

predetermines in you the actions to take, the
words to speak, what to do, and how to do it.
Solomon spoke highly of wisdom and said in
verse 6 of our opening scripture, "forsake her not,
and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall
keep thee". So you see, wisdom is safety, it is an
attribute of the Spirit of God at work in you, and it is
not normal or natural.
Functioning by wisdom doesn't mean being
street smart, it means that per time, you are led by
the Spirit of God and you are always in the know of
what you ought to do per time, whether big or small
decisions or actions.
In life, we have many pursuits and dreams but in
your pursuit for anything, never place it above the
leading of the Spirit, because in so doing, you will
begin to walk unwisely and outside the will of God for

49
you. This doesn't mean that you shouldn't have
pursuits in life, rather it means that you are to put
things in the right order of hierarchy. The will of God
should never be a last resort rather, it should be the
starting point and the totality of your decisions.
Wisdom teaches you to focus and how to plan.
Never be that person that just lets things happen
because of lack of planning, make plans, and let it be
that God changes your plan.
Another attribute of wisdom is excellence.
Wisdom teaches that there is no price too high to pay
for excellence. Her instructions may be risky, but to
follow the voice of God, you need to conquer fear and
the opinions of others. Success is not for fearful
people; it is for the bold and courageous! Allow
wisdom to guide you.

of wisdom at work in me. I yield Proverbs 2:6;

FRIDAY 26 2 Corinthians 5:5-7
Now, he that wrought us for self-same thing
LIVING BY THE is God, who also hath given us the earnest
SPIRIT OF FAITH of the Spirit. Therefore we are always
confident, knowing that, whilst we are at
home in the body, we are absent from
the Lord:(For we walk by faith not by sight:)”

T here is a need to understand the kingdom

subject of faith. There is a confidence that faith
manifests, and this confidence comes from the
knowledge of the word. Your knowledge of the word
is based on how many truths you have received from
the word. The word is light and when you encounter
light, it displaces ignorance and polishes your
mindset. Faith is a product of the word, whenever
you act on what God tells you, you are living the faith
life.
Man created in the image of God is a spirit,
which has a soul and lives in a body. Our opening
scripture says that while we are at home in the body,
we are absent from the Lord. So, how do we then live
the kingdom life, how do we hear and communicate
with God? How does God lead us while we are at
home in the body? It's all going to be by Faith. Can
you see that? Faith is your life practically on earth.

51
While at home in the body on earth, Jesus our
Lord is in heaven. Now, the only way we can live the
life of heaven on earth is by faith. In Heaven, faith is
not needed; all you need to do to get your desire is to
say it and you will get it done. Therefore, the only
place where you need faith to get things done is on
earth. Nothing is impossible on earth with faith.
Someone said to me one day, "Sir, I am trying to
use my faith". Then I realized why things don't work
for many people. You don't try to use your faith. You
must learn to use your faith and put it into practice
daily. When faith becomes a spirit in you, the spirit of
faith moves you to do things. You no longer live in
fear. All things become possible to you. Hallelujah!
Live your life by the spirit of faith and get things
done. Remember, Faith comes by hearing the word of
God. So, spend time studying and meditating on the
word of God until you encounter the spirit of faith
and begin to rule your world. Praise God!

PRAYER FOCUS

SATURDAY 27 John 14:16
THE HOLY SPIRIT And I will pray the Father and he will
give you another Comforter that he
AND THE WORD may abide with you forever

J esus is the Word made flesh. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the
Word. Jesus knew that a time would come when there would
be many questions in our hearts concerning certain situations.
So, He said He will pray the Father to give us another comforter
or helper who will be with us, and help us with our work.
The greatest gift Jesus left with man was not really the Holy
Spirit, but the Word of God. The Holy Spirit is limited without the
Word. You see that? He is the Spirit of the Word. The Word and
the Spirit are inseparable. You can't say you have the Spirit and
have not the Word, or you have the Word and do not have the
Spirit. That's impossible! The Holy Spirit has no work to do
without the Word. This is the reason many cannot see the
manifestation of the Spirit they received, because they are not
full of the Word of God. The Holy Spirit is on earth to help you
fulfill God's word and the assignment Jesus has left for us.
The Bible says in Genesis chapter 1 that “the Spirit of God moved
over the waters and God said…” Can you now see the ministry of
the Word and the Spirit? You have to take the word of God
seriously and understand it, because it is the greatest treasure
you have. When the word of God comes to you, that is God
coming to you because God and His word are same. He is one
with His Word.

53
It is important to know how God's word comes to us. The word
of God is light and revelation from scriptures which can be
accessed through forensic study and meditation of the word.
The word of God can also come to us through His prophets,
pastors, teachers and leaders in the church.
We are expected to prove the Word of God in our lives
daily by the ability of the Holy Spirit. Prove the Word of God in
your health, finances, academics, marital life, work place,
everywhere and anywhere. The Holy Spirit was given to us to
help prove God's Word, and we can only prove the Word of God
by putting it to practice. Do not be hearers of the Word only, but
be doers of the word. Keep saying the word, don't stop talking it,
put it to constant use and practice until you become the
manifestation of the Word.

PRAYER FOCUS

SUNDAY 28 2 Corinthians 4:13
DECLARE THE We having the same spirit of faith
WORD BODLY according as it is written, I believed
BY THE SPIRIT and therefore have I spoken; we
believe, and therefore speak
OF FAITH

T he word of God is a very important tool to man. Nothing can

replace the word of God in the life of any believer, no matter
the anointing he or she carries. The anointing is given to help
man accomplish and make his assignment easy. So, man needs
the word of God to lead and guide him. Every word of God
should be acted on and declared by the spirit of faith so that it
can fully actualize its manifestation in our lives.
The spirit of faith doesn't keep you mute; it empowers
you to always declare the word. There is a reason why we tell
people to declare the word, because it is impossible to be drunk
and not speak. When a man is drunk, he will always speak
because he is under the influence of a spirit. When you take in so
much word by meditation and come under the influence of the
spirit of the word, you will declare those words freely out of your
mouth. The spirit of the word is the spirit of faith because faith
comes by hearing the word of God.
Every word we speak under the influence of the spirit of
faith is established, because until you say something it is not
done. This is what changes the life of anyone - speaking to
situations by the spirit of faith. So many people mock us that we
are talkative; they can't understand the mystery of our
consistent talking. You see, man is a spirit and his greatest assets

55
are his words. If he doesn't say anything, he won't have
anything. Therefore, mind what you say because if you say
anything without doubt in your heart, and believe that what you
say will come to pass, you will have what you say (Mark 11:23)
Jesus said in Mark 11:24 that whatsoever we desire when
we PRAY; he didn't say when you kneel quietly beside your bed
saying nothing. Do you see that? When you pray, you say
something, you are not mute. You do not think prayer, you say it!
Glory to God! You must understand that when it comes to faith,
you don't just try to act on the word only, you declare the word
also. Therefore, make the word of God your revelation. When
this happens, you are stirred from within always to declare the
word effortlessly; you do not remain quiet anymore. Hallelujah!

PRAYER FOCUS
Dear Lord Jesus, I thank you for the operation of FURTHER READING
the spirit of faith in my life. I declare boldly that
my life is in the forward and upward direction Mark 11:22-24,
only. I rule and dominate my world. I am a light 2 Corinthians 4:6-13
to the world, a solution to my world. My capacity
is enlarged and I possess the land, in Jesus Name!

56
MONDAY 29 Mark 11:23
BELIEVE THE WORD, For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall
DECLARE THE WORD, say unto this mountain, Be thou removed and
be thou cast into the sea and shall not doubt
AND ACT ON THE in his heart but believe that those things which
WORD he says shall come to pass; he shall have what
he says

A nything you believe, you must say it. Do not say you
believe something and you don't declare it. To say
what you believe means you will act on what you said you
believe. Some folks think whenever they declare what
t hey be l i eve w i t hout yet s e e i ng t he phys i ca l
manifestation, that they are deceiving themselves. No!
You see, those who are kingdom-minded and have come
to the understanding of kingdom realities will never think
that declaring the word of faith is self-deception. It
becomes their daily life. They keep speaking the word,
acting on the word, living the word, and manifesting the
word with faith in their hearts. Glory to God!
For those who are very bold to declare God's word,
some people might say they exhibit pride, because of their
boldness in confessing the word. Yeah, it's truly pride, but
they pride in what God can do. For others who say things
are hard, it is also pride, but this time, it's pride in what
they think they can do. Many things are impossible for
man, but with God nothing is impossible. So, whenever
you declare the possibilities of God, you are making your

57
boast in God. Praise God!
When was the last time you put God's word in your
mouth, declaring it, having believed it in your heart? Some
people after declaring the word of faith keep saying, “Well
I don't know if this will work”; and finally, it never worked.
You see, your faith produced what you said. It didn't work
because you placed uncertainty around what you said.
Mark 11:23 says if you say it without doubts in your heart,
and believe that what you said will manifest, you will
surely have it.
Never declare what you do not want because you
will always have what you say. This is a spiritual law. Can
you see now the reason for many sufferings in the world
today? They engaged in negative proclamations of
sickness, poverty, failures, oppression, and fear, which
began to manifest in their lives because that was what was
declared. So, do not say negative things about your life,
family, children, work, etc. Avoid words like “I am in
trouble now”; “my children are suffering” etc. Rather say
words full of faith. Believe it, Keep saying it, don't stop
talking about it, act on it, and experience a glorious life of
all-round blessings and victory. Hallelujah!

PRAYER FOCUS
As I pray in the Spirit, I re-align my FURTHER READING
words with the thoughts of God, and Mark 10:27;
cancel the effect of any negative
word I have ever spoken. I walk in
11:22-24
the fulfillment of the promises of
God in my life, in Jesus Name. Amen

TUESDAY 30 Hebrews 11:1(Amp)
THE BELIEVERS NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation,
the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being
CURRENCY the proof of things [we] do not see and the
conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as
real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

H allelujah! Our opening scripture is exciting, I would

like you to read it again! As a believer, everything we
do in our Kingdom, we do by faith. For us as believers, faith
is to us, what oxygen is to the human body. The Bible tells
us that the just shall live by faith (Rom 1:17). So, if that is
what we live by just like the scripture said, that means it's
our oxygen. In the same way, the natural man cannot
survive without oxygen, even so, the believer cannot
survive without faith. If without oxygen the natural man is
dead, you can already picture what faithlessness will
mean for the believer.
As a believer, faith is our medium of exchange, our
legal tender; faith is the believers' currency. In the same
way, nothing happens in the world without money, the
same way nothing can happen for the believer in the
Kingdom of God without faith. As ambassadors and
representatives of the kingdom of God here on earth, we
are backed up by heaven, and the heavenly resources are
at our disposal. Hallelujah! So as a believer, you can have
everything you need to advance the Kingdom of God here

59
on the earth. But how do you make that request or submit
your budget? You do so by faith! You ask by faith and you
receive by faith.
The faith currency is not something you have to
work to get, faith comes by your continuous hearing of the
word of God (Rom 10:17); your faith muscles are built as
you hear the word of God and act on them.
Faith is imparted into your spirit as you hear the
word of God. Hearing the word of God is free, all you need
to do is attend services and church meetings, as well as
having your personal study times. All you need to pay is
your attention! As you do that, you build your faith.
Now that you have received faith, you need to
exercise it and put it to work. Having faith and doing
nothing with it, can be likened to having physical
currencies, and instead of purchasing what you need, you
stay at home wishing you had it delivered to you without
payment; it doesn't work that way. It is not enough to have
faith; you have to place a demand on it. You have to
purchase what you want by faith, and you do that by
believing, confessing, and acting on the word of God.
When you pray, believe that you have received that
which you requested by faith. Remember, if it is faith, it
cannot fail. So, today make a deliberate effort to utilize
that currency to access whatever you need in life.

PRAYER FOCUS
Dear Father, thank you for the availability FURTHER READING
of your word. I decree that my faith
continually grows as I yield myself to the
James 1: 6-7,
study of the scriptures. Today, I Hebrews 10:38
deliberately put my faith to work and I see
its results manifested in my life in Jesus
name.
