3 Graduate Study in Science

The University of Melbourne acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the

unceded land on which we work, learn and live: the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung
and Bunurong peoples (Burnley, Fishermans Bend, Parkville, Southbank
and Werribee campuses), the Yorta Yorta Nation (Dookie and Shepparton
campuses), and the Dja Dja Wurrung people (Creswick campus).
“One of my favourite things about chemistry
is how many problems you get to solve. It's
a blend of maths, physics, biology all in one
study area. Chemistry is also diverse, from
environmental to organic and inorganic.
Speaking with professors and supervisors
really helps set you up for research projects
in the course and deciding which area of
chemistry you'd like to pursue.
It's a tight knit community, where you have
so many opportunities to talk to the different
professors and make a lot of close friendships
with the student cohort!”
