Arrival Time/Free Play When the learners arrived in the classroom
early, they are allowed to play with
educational toys, manipulative toys while
waiting for the other children to arrive.
Meeting Time The teacher will Check the attendance first
and sing the Days of the week song which is
“Pito-Pito”. after that is checking of weather 15
and sing the “Ang Panahon” song.
Circle Time 1 The teacher will ask the students first about
how they feel today and how they express
those feelings. After that, I will introduce the
song “I Have Feelings” and we will sing
together. Then, the teacher will share a short
story/ scenario that explores different
emotions and encouraging the children to act
out each feeling. For example, Before going
to school, I felt so happy because I ate my 45
favorite food (happy). However, while
walking, it started to rain, and since I didn’t
have my umbrella, I felt angry(angry). Once
the rain stopped, I was surprised to see a
beautiful rainbow in the sky (surprised). But
when I arrived at school and my friend was
absent because she was sick, I felt sad (sad).
Communication, sharing
In this activity we will Teach children how to
take turns talking and listening to each other.
The teacher will provide the material which is
the small box , at each face of the cube , draw
a face that depicts the basic emotions. Form a
semi circle with students and Learners will
take turns throwing the cube. At each turn,
learner shares an experience when s/he felt
the particular emotion on the cube.
Supervised Recess During recess, the teacher will ask who wants 15
to lead a prayer and before eating, the teacher
will teach the students about the proper way
of washing their hands. After eating, the
teacher will instruct the students on where
they should throw their garbage.
Quiet/Nap Time The students will be given a chance to play 10
with clay and encourage them to create some
emotions using clay.
Circle Time 2 Arts and Crafts 45
The materials needed for this activity are
Popsicle sticks, colored paper, marker. For
procedure, first, the teacher will distribute the
circle colored papers to students. Second,
using markers instruct learners to draw faces
that shows happiness, sad, surprised and
angry. Last, attach popsicle sticks to the circle
and let the students use them as emotion
puppets.
The teacher will provide pictures that show
the different kinds of emotions. The teacher
will give scenarios to the students. using their
popsicle puppets, they will choose what
emotions they would feel in that situation.
Indoor/Outdoor Play In this Activity, the teacher need some music 25
player and emotion flashcards.
Activity: the teacher will play the music and
have kids dance . When the music stops, hold
up an emotion card and the students must
freeze in a pose that represents that emotion.
Wrap-Up Time The teacher will read the story about “ ang 20
kaarawan ni yola” and provide some
questions about what did yola feel about her
birthday?.
Dismissal Time The teacher will asks the students to pick up 5
the pieces of papers under their seat and
When Packing away, we will sing Goodbye
song : “Paalam na sayo”
