In the past, technology was not as advanced as it is today. People relied on letters for

communication, and tasks such as cooking or traveling took much longer. For example, people used

to write letters that took weeks to reach their destination. Similarly, they traveled by horse or

carriage, which was slow and uncomfortable.

Nowadays, technology is developing at an incredible pace. People are constantly using

smartphones and computers to stay connected. For instance, while I am writing this essay, I am also

listening to music on my phone. My friends are texting me, and we are planning our weekend

activities together.
