Purpose
Being able to find, assess, and use credible information is important for both
students and working professionals. These skills will allow you to be an
efficient researcher and a successful lifelong learner. This assignment will
require you to find relevant and suitable sources that are of high quality for
your final report in this course.
Assignment Details
Use the attached worksheet to complete this assignment
Select 4-8 sources related to your report topic for this course. Failure to
provide sources relevant to the report topic may result in a zero
on the assignment.
This assignment should be completed with your report assignment group.
Instructions
1. Determine your research topic.
2. Choose search terms relevant to your research topic.
3. Use your search terms in tools such as the SAIT Library Search, Google, or
Google Scholar to find 4-8 sources for your report. If using a public-facing
website, do not reference more than one page or document from it.
4. Evaluate each source to ensure it is relevant to your topic, suitable for
postsecondary research purposes, and of sufficient quality for professional
use in your field of study. You will be evaluated on the overall quality
of your sources.
5. Write a complete reference list entry for each source.
6. Submit the completed assignment to Brightspace by the posted deadline.
