i. Executive Summary

EcoFresh seeks to address the challenges of plastic single-use towards the environment and tackle
the food retail industries in proposing biodegradable alternatives to the traditional, cost-based
packaging solutions. Our objective shall be to curtail the plastic waste and create green alternatives
while migrating businesses to such greener practices.

ii. Problem Statement

Plastic waste has become the new global crisis. Food and retail sectors are among the largest
contributors. Conventional plastic packaging does not break down and poses long-term threats to
the environment. More sustainable alternatives are desired both by businesses and consumers, but
most available choices are too expensive or inaccessible.

iii. Solution

EcoFresh is an eco-friendly packaging company that uses renewable bioproducts such as those
sourced from cornstarch and bagasse, which biodegrade consumable. These packaging solutions are
hence low-cost, non-toxic food packaging. We help businesses reduce their ecological footprint as
they respond to the growing demand for more eco-friendly products.

EcoFresh provides:

targeting the domestic market and gradually proceeding to other areas.
vi. Competitive Analysis

Its other key competitors are companies such as EcoPack and BioPak. Although these companies sell
similar products, the differentiation aspect for EcoFresh is based on locally sourced raw materials,
customizable designs, and indeed on pricing due to effective optimized supply chain management
strategies.

vii. Financial Model

Revenue will be collected through direct sales to business places, but further down the line, it will
increase on the subscription model for constant supply. The initial capital will be in the form of
grants, partnerships, and equity investment. Our assumption is that we will start generating profits
after three years of operating due to the increasing demand for sustainable packaging.

viii. Marketing Strategy

Our marketing strategy is as follows:

chain managers, and administrative support. We would maintain costs by hiring interns from local
universities for research and outreach initiatives.

x. Further Details

EcoFresh will also come up with community educational programs in outreach and education to talk
to consumers about the world of plastic pollution and why they need sustainable packaging. We will
monitor our footprint so we can show their contribution to the positive impact of our products.
