1. Planning

In IndiGo, a market survey is done before launching new products or introducing


new schemes. IndiGo develops a strategic plan which guides the long-term
operations of the firm. To ensure low operating costs while maintaining quality.

It handles the avionics and mechanics of the airplane, performing daily inspections,
and routine repairs and maintenance, such as filling the tires with air and fueling.

It sells the airline's services as well as creates new programs, services, and
advertisements to attract customers. It also takes ticket reservations and purchases.
IndiGo’s marketing strategy includes low-air-cost travel and an “India by IndiGo”
campaign.

4. Finance

It is concerned with maintaining a smooth cash flow to ensure the airline's


continued success. The finance function is responsible for financial reporting,
managing investor relations, and secretarial filings. Finance ensures managing
timely payments to our employees and service providers. It also ensures cost
management, project evaluation, management reporting, and activities such as
budgeting and planning. Management of banking relations, tax planning, and
procurement also form a part of the key responsibilities of finance.

 At IndiGo, teamwork is promoted at all hierarchal levels and every staff


member is given a chance to be involved in decision-making. The
company has a positive relationship with external stakeholders,
including governments, shareholders, and the local community. IndiGo's
rising profits indicate that they are executing their plans effectively and
