Report: 5 Days Skill Development on Robotics and its Application
24th – 28th Oct 2024
Skills and knowledge inculcated beyond curriculum education is necessary to
succeed in today’s world. Our college believes in nurturing the students into a
wholesome professional and hence our students are encouraged to undergo Skill
Development Program. These courses student to develop a desire to keep them
updated on the latest trends and improves their technical skills further. The recent
trends and to make sure that our students are technically stronger, these Skill
Development are made mandatory for all the students in the 3rd semester. It will be
a 30 hour (5 days) program.
About the Skill Development Program
Skill Development Program is formulated to explore the possibilities within the
field of Robotics and empower you with the skills to design and create your own
robotic solutions. The Program will cover basics of robotics, covering both
theoretical concepts and practical applications. Followed by hands on sessions.
Specific objectives of the Skill Development are:
Participants will learn Fundamental concept of robotics including types of
robots and their functions.
Demonstrate the design process for creating a simple robot, from concept to
prototype.
Assemble a basic robot using provided materials and tools, fostering hands-
on skills and creativity
Learning basic programming concepts relevant to robotics, including logic,
control structures and algorithms.
Collaborate with peers in diverse teams to promote teamwork and idea
sharing throughout the program.
Outcome:
Participants will understand of fundamental robotics concepts, including the
types and components of robots.
Gets hands-on experience working with Arduino UNO and IDE Basics.
Participants may build a simple robot, applying hands-on techniques and
problem-solving skills learned during the skill development program.
Participants will experience effective teamwork, enhancing their ability to
collaborate on projects and share insights with peers.
